Nice! find π

Yeah, but for that Ron would need to team up with Tim Schafer as the IP of DOTT is with him I guess. And Tim Schafer is with Microsoft now I doubt that will happen very soon. But I do hope I mixed sth up here and am wrong.

Does anyone have any idea how to take ReMI apart to get hand on some of these graphics. I was thinking about doing a few maps of this game as a personal project or creating one of these pamphlets Guybrush is carrying around. But how to get these graphics except of takin screenshots? Or maybe even getting other graphics of this game as well.

Yeah, would be nice. But LOOM wasn't that successful commercially. So I think IF then they will bring some stronger horses onto the race track to generate some momentum and then, when the ball is rolling they come up with LOOM and such.

You guys really think this is coming?: https://mixnmojo.com/news/Return-to-WHAT

Any idea A) how to win the race against Chuckie or B) how to feed the duck? for A) I wished another scurvy dog from the wishing well and Chickie ate it but he was still not slowing down. for B) the βparentsβ donβt let us near the bread

I wonder how hard that would be to do. BTW: Does anyone know how to decompile an existing game so you get all the parts (code and graphics) to see?

PC vs.Β β¦ Switch? (What will be your way of playing ReMI?)
MichaelSon replied to BillyCheers's topic in General Discussion
I will be playing it on my old MacbookPro. either connected to a 27" thunderbolt display or I go with my Mac Pro Cheesgrater from 2009 (plenty of RAM and a sold GPU) to enjoy it on its 30" cinema display. Recently played MI1 EGA on it and it looked fantastic! -
Any plan to lift this onto Apple x86 platform some day?

I love this poster but I miss the green undertone in the new version a bit. It looks too warm to my taste - watching it on a calibrated apple macbook screen.

Return to Monkey Island [SPOILER FREE]
MichaelSon replied to ThunderPeel2001's topic in General Discussion
I recently finished both first MI games and hope that the humour remains the same in ReMI. Don't know why so many people like CMI the most. It is a fine game to me but there is sth it is lacking. But cannot pinpoint to what it is. And I con't like the artwork. Would have loved a makeover with the art of Peter Chan or Steve Purcell - but that will never happen. -
Return to Monkey Island π¨GAME-WIDEπ¨ Spoiler Chat

I am setting up this thread in advance - obviously - as ReMI is not released yet at the time of writing. Letβs be honest here and write down your reaction after your first time playing ReMI. How did you feel after you played it? What did you like and what not?- 703 replies

Return to Monkey Island fan art, music, etc!

These letters look awesome. But can you tell me how you did the 3 Islands map and what size you used? -
Donβt know if this one has already been discussed. With the upcoming release of ReMI on Monday I really hope that someone is also thinking about creating a physical big box release of this game. Assuming this will happen, what goodies would you like to have in the box - no matter if itβs realistic or not? Here are my wishes that could make sense to have: - a price tag for the horse armor that everyone gets with the preorder - maybe a coffee cup coaster in the shape of the horse armor or Murray π - a ReMI poster in landscape or portrait mode, signed by Ron, Dave and Rex - postcards that advertise either traveling to Melee Island or Stanβs new business - a plastic fish - a plastic skull of Murray as key tag - postcard of Melee Island - a map of Monkey Island - a coin - a letter with a summons to court - recipe book - small diary with all adventures of Guybrush (someone did that already) - alternative poster of ReMI of Rex Crowle based on the concept Steve Purcell did for Tales (?) - as much as Iβd like to have a code wheel that (a) wouldnβt make any sense and (b) would just be a connection for old fans and pure nostalgia. New phone players wouldnβt be able to reference it. And ReMI is not based on nostalgia afaik like Thimbleweed Park did. Those are all That is it from me for now. I may come up with other ideas later. Would love to read what you come up with ππ»ββοΈπ

Same here. Looking forward to it π

Just preordered on Steam the MAC version. Seems like my 2012 MBPro will still be able to handle it nicely. Still, I would like to have a Big Box release. Hope that someone is already working on it.

So, same setting we had already - remember DOTT. 50% new puzzles? Then the other 50 would be a fan pleaser? Seems like an entirely new game to me. Iβve enjoyed everything Ron made so far. Like his humor. So I believe whatever heβll do next, will be great as well. Just hope if a new MM then please with NEW graphics. The Thimbleweed Park style is already retro. And open Thimbleweed Park source code so fans can do another MM remake with Thimbleweed Park style graphics themselves.

I hope they make an ingame joke about it π€©

Dude, youβre AWESOME !!! That really brings new flavor to the menu. Amazing job. I really π it ππ»ππ»ππ»

Nice job, but may I make a few suggestions: - The flying skull is hidden behind the S. Wouldnβt it be cooler if you could bring it upfront so it would look like it would fly through the S? - Same with Elaine behind D. Let her head squeeze through the D π

You stole my joke @Laserschwert My thoughts exactly π

Yes!!! But this man needs a team. If he works alone he wonβt be able to handle it in 100 years Iβm afraidβ¦
