I bought KOTOR!!! It's on the Xbox (duh) and It's awsome!

I don't think I could handle playing it on the pc. The Xbox controls are so easy to use and everything works smoothly. The fighting is awsome. I haven't used blasters more than once on the intro. Not because I think they are bad. I just love using the swords and watching the really cinematic fights with them. I recently became a jedi and it's getting better as I go. Force push is fun :D It takes a while before you become a jedi, but you don't really care because it's fun to play anyway, unlike some games *cough*jediknight2*cough*. The graphics are amazing and the animations are really fluid. You can upgrade weapons with parts that you find lying around, which is cool. It's great for people who don't care much for star wars, sometimes you have to remember you are playing a star wars game (before you get a lightsaber of course :p). It's awsome with surround sound, you can hear blaster shots whizzing around the room, and your allies saber igniting behind you. The story is good aswell, and unlike most rpg's the npcs actually speak instead of you having to read text. It's awsome. I've been playing for ages and as far as I know I've only just started. At the moment I am leaning toward the light side, but it's hard because it seems to cost more money. I managed to get out of paying 2000 credits by being a tad bit evil.

This is the best game I've bought in a very long time, and I'm nowhere near all the cool stuff (dual sabers :D, force lightning *drools*)

I'm off to play it again shortly..... bye *runs to Xbox*

I'm actually beginning to wish I waited for the PC version. It will have new races, new movies, new interface, new locations and weapons not found in the original game. I know most of these will be downloadble, but seeing as I don't have xbox live, it's not an option for me. Not fair!

I am quite excited about KOTOR, almost grabbed an XBox to play it, but really have no desire for a console (plenty of PC's and Mac's laying around as it is).

It's funny, I picked up Neverwinter Nights for the Mac when it came out in August just to get up to speed on playing an RPG, the AD&D v3 rules and so on ... but ended up absolutely loving that. So I picked up the NWN expansion (Shadows of Undrentide) which can be manually installed on the Mac. NWN was ~80 hours for me, SoU ~25 or so. Then a couple of weeks ago I grabbed Baldur's Gate II and IceWind Dale (MacPlay has a 'combo pack' deal) and am playing BG2 now. So I'm really building my RPG chops ;)

At the same time I'm just really loving Jedi Academy ... so I can't wait to experience the confluence of RPG and SW on my PC ...
