BongoBob
My mom won't let me go to the midnight premeire of LotR:RotK, because she said that she has read to clifnotes version of it and she said that it is too violent for me. WTF! This is sooooo ghei. (no offence to anyone)
ZBomber
Ghei? Isn't that a name? That sucks man. Did she let you see Matrix (any of them?) If so, RoTK will probably be less violent than that. (If not, don't yell at me, I don't like LotR )

Bob Gnarly
All of you, quite. Yes that does suck, you wont get to see a modern play. Please make sure she understands the LotR is Titanic for teens, and that they spent 300 million dollers on the triolagy and if you dont do your part to help out...then they might as well have spent that money on children of a 3rd world country. BongoBob
Nothing Phizzle. Just forget about it. Anyhow, no Z, I had to watch it on TBS. I havn't seen the second or third one yet. And as I said, I meant no offence to anyone. And I am not calling my mom that, I am calling the fact that.

Jedi Luke
Holy Crap that sucks Bob!!!! Lord of the Rings is one of the very rare and excellent trilogies that we are fortunate to view but you can't see it. Damn, sorry to hear it man. Just go with some of your friends to see Rotk and tell your mum you're going to see some kid movie.

Though i'm curious, if you were so worried about offending, why didn't you say "This is so extremely dumb" or somesuch? Certainly would have saved you a lot of effort. DarkLord60
Sorry to hear bud. That sucks that you got to see the others but not that one. Well you will see it someday your not a kid forever unless your parents have you chained up in a room for life.
Darth Eggplant
it's not the same as seeing LOTR ROTK but I hope it brings a smile to your face.
RoguePhotonic
Maybe it's time to break your chains and fight back...tell her to **** off and go...it may seem harsh but it's a harsh world....freedom has never been achieved through peaceful negotiation...though maybe it could work for you...I prefer choice 1 but do what ya please. ET Warrior
I say that's a bit harsh, they are his PARENTS after all. And I personally don't respect people who have no respect for their parents. Try to talk to your mother about it. Reason it out. Point out that you AREN'T insane and seeing violence will not cause you to become so. Especially if you've seen TTT, because while RotK will have MORE violence, it will be the same kind of violence. IG-64
violent? They're just orcs, mindless drones, they might as well be droids. LotR is great for literatral value. Not to mention a tolkien spent 15 years of his life writing it and peter jackson spent 5 years putting it to film and 2 guys lost their fingerprints because the spent years just putting chain mail together 12 hours a day. Has your mom even seen LotR? If she hasn't then sit her down and make her watch it, maybe she'll let you go if you do.
RoguePhotonic
**** that..their his parents...what's that supposed to mean?...oh thank you...thank you for giving me life...I can't respect that because it was not asked for...but forget that...the real issue is do you think anyone has the right to tell you what you can and can't watch with your own eyes...it's a matter of personal freedom....well I don't and I fought...I fought threw my whole child hood because I had this free mind....I will not lie...it's a hard life...if you have a free mind it's a threat to everything this system stands for....this society has gone worse than just to hell. In the end it's are you man enough to stand up for your rights....if your not don't complain.
