Saddam Hussein Captured

Recommended Posts

Well it seems the elusive dictator has been captured. The question is, what happens now. Maybe less people will get sent to Iraq now. Maybe not. Its about time he was captured, I'm tired of hearin' about how they hadn't found him yet. Anways, I think this is all fine and dandy. Heh.

Holy crap, I started a thread, that's a first in awhile....holy crap it actually has a topic...but will the thread last...

Yeah I saw this at the Monkey ISland forums, but I bet it's in a lot of general forums worldwide heh.

I think it's good, but did you see the picture of him? It's like he's got a beard and all...

Saddam must not be tried in the US. :dozey: It would be a disaster of international politics, with the US ultimately losing.

Saddam must not be tried in the UN, or by the Hague. I mean, how many years have they been trying Milosevic now? Come on.

Saddam must be tried in Iraq. :D The Iraqi people have been the victims through every phase of all this...justice must belong to them; it is the only way that is right.

Ok, first off his beard is gone, the already shaved it off.

Secondly Saddam is going to be tried in Iraq under the rules of the Geneva Convention, crimes against humanity and whatnot.

And thirdly, the person who turned him in was somebody they had captured and was in prison. Saddam's own dude, so he's most likely not getting the reward as he is a prisoner.

And personally I think his punishment shouldbe the 16th and 17th century way. The stocks. Public display for those to throw food at and whatnot.
