My weapon of choice would be a staff/sword. Basically It's a walking staff with a sword hidden inside, the head of the staff being the sword handle. It was used in Victorian England. Someone was about to mug you, you uncrew your cane, pull the sword out (the other half of the cane acts as the sheath) and slash away. Pretty cool way of concealing a weapon if you ask me.

;)

It's actually a metal rod with some glowy paint added on. I'm pretty sure it would hurt like hell if you got hit by one.

And those Klingons will die!

Jango: Numenor. :)

Screwkie: No

flamberge for you. :D Kris or rapier, no middle ground. Perhaps I should have added a bat'leth to the poll; they are 100% real (though silly) weapons...

Nitrous: A tanto is merely the dagger-sized version of the samurai sword; your pick is covered under that option of the poll. ;) Relax, you're *cool.*

Sexwing: (like that one?) What is this 'Saracen' sword? :max: I have not yet encountered this description. Elaborate, please.

Well, looks like samurai swords are winning the poll; so far the samurai sword is the most popular bladeform in the modern world.

:dozey: Who woulda guessed?

The Saracen Sword was used by the Saracens against the Crusaders during well, the Crusades. If you watch the movie Robin Hood with Kevin Costner and Morgan Freeman, the character Azeem (Morgan Freeman) uses a Saracen, which Robin got from one of the guards in the prison at the begining. The curved sword.

Flamberge = 100% real weapon, just not as popular in the dark to middle ages 'cus they were believed to be evil swords.

Then yet again you'd think the same way for a Kris for its simular shape

As for a Flamberge rapier, I guess someone wanted to be a little fancy. ;)

Suicidal(e)XWing :dozey: Alas, but I have yet to find a suitable corruption of your name, Lynkster. At least, not since the very old days when you were Car Horn.

:D

Sexwing: Aaahh...a scimitar! Nice swords, indeed. I failed to include them in the poll because they aren't widely popular (and there are so many bladeforms used in the world today that no poll could include all of them.) ;) I'd say you have unique but perfectly valid tastes when it come to weaponry...

Ah yes, the days you called me Car Horn... XD Sexwing doesn't work, i thought you were talking about Redwing.

err.. not that you are not a sexy guy sxw.. but still a guy.. y'know.. redwing leaves at least the chance open that he's a girl. that seems to be enough information for lynk to decide that redwing will be the victim of his dirty minded sex thoughts concerning such names.

looks like you're not the only one who sees redwing that way so we're not that different, lynk.

except for the fact that you are the one who is called car horn and i am the one who doesnt get it.

:p
