CapNColostomy
Can't say I'm too keen on puppies. I read (or maybe saw in a bad movie) once, that you shouldn't trust a man that doesn't like dogs. That would make me the most untrustworthy sunuvabitch to ever walk the earth. Hope your friends family enjoys the gift, nonetheless.
ExcelsioN
Aren't Daschunds the ones that look like sausages? I remember my german teacher explaining the name, but I forget what it means. Something -dog.

Surfnshannon
I really want a golden retriever - however he/she will have to wait until I get a house. The apartment is WAY too small as it is!

snowman21
I have a 12 year-old golden retriever/samoyed mix. He's old, but we still call him a puppy. He's the perfect dog, and we've had him since I was 4. I would post a pic if somebody would offer pic hosting!!
Troopr-Undr-Fir
I have a pug, he is the most animated dog I've ever come across. And also the most brave (you know picks fights with other dogs, lets me throw him and he runs into walls). And also a good snuggler, but a down side to them is that they need alot of medication(for they're nose, and other things)...so they are very expensive. Hell if I didn't have him I could afford a cable line, but then I wouldn't have a lump of muscles to throw around now would I . Oh and I would be on the comp all day, and I WOULD DEFFINITLY NOT WANT THAT ! As for your dog IG, they are pretty cool, but I classify them in the yippy catagory. But when I was living with my parents we had a cocker spaniel mixed with a dachshund god rest her black little sould , so I know where your coming form with all the cute ness EDIT:Sorry my digital camera bites big time, pssh it is deffinitly worth 20 bucks

Troopr-Undr-Fir
uhh I didn't catch that part of the story...It probably wasn't the smartest idea to buy the puppy with out the parents permission. I hope that dog has a home tomorrow

Icemaniax
Heres my 4 year old Dachsund Sad yet incredible story as to how i go ther to. When she was born from my mothers dachsund, she was a still born. i figured she needed a chance and gave her mouth to mouth. most people think its disgusting, but when the lifeless puppy started whining, you have NO idea how it makes you feel to have saved a life. and heres 2 of the lil buggers running around right now, we have 2 pups left Mr.Magoo(Left), Tawny(Right) Tawny, (doesnt she look Camera shy?) Tawny Again I Call Mr. Magoo, Agoo for short and Tawny Tawn-Tawn. Aren't they cute?
