Ikhnaton
no, the fact that it is a japanese car is fine. american cars suck. but if it's one thing i'm sick of seeing in southern CA or anywhere else for that matter is suped up civics and accords. dude, no matter how much you supe it up, you still drive a civic. Shan, are you one of those maniacs that cruises the 10 freeway at about 100 mph, zig-zagging around cars?
Kylilin
Is it me, or do the worst drivers come out during the Holiday season. In the last few weeks I've seen more atrocious driving, both on the highway and local driving, than I've seen all year. It's also especially horrible during rush hours, as if they are not bad enough. SuicidalXWing
depends on the year of the American car for one, they were much better back when Americans actually attempted to do work, rather than be lazy asses like so many Americans have done. Current American cars also now currenlt are made up of many foreign parts, so some of that inferiority comes from the world as well.
Surfnshannon
No I usually drive 70-80. I like my car to have some pick-up, however I don't want my brians smeared all over my windshield either. Remember - I drive around my son! I drive a 2003 Toyota Corolla. It really doesn't look all riced out. When I get it washed - after it rains I'll take a picture. It looks nice. And I have a nice sound system because I really enjoy music. I went for the crisper and cleaner sound - rather than the whole ghetto sound. I'm not into the biggest and baddest amp. My speakers are on a 4 channel that runs them at about 50 watts per. It still sounds awesome.
Ikhnaton
i love corollas. i used to have one and then i went nuts and traded it in for a matrix xrs that i couldn't afford. i wish i still had that car.
edlib
I shall never speak ill of the mighty Corolla. When I was growing up my mom had a '77 Corolla station wagon that ended up going almost 400,000 miles before we had to retire it. Body panels started falling off in huge chunks, but the engine was still pretty strong and probably could have gone on a lot more with a little work. Some kid in town bought it and patched up some of the body for a shop project and I kept seeing it around for a few more years after that. It was the car that just wouldn't die. It had been in a few minor accidents, and survived the Blizzard of '78.
Surfnshannon
That Matrix is pretty nice - I'm not too found of hatchbacks - that's the only reason I didn't get it. Its got a way faster engine in the one model (maybe thats the one you have ike can't remember). I here they are making a suped up Corolla with that engine in it and selling it sometime next year. I wish I had known . I love my corolla!
