Keshire pointed out these mistakes which I fixed.... and on the computer which I model, these files (besides the taunt missing the Y) are fixed... yet I downloaded the zip and saw the files as if I never changed them... some really wierd refresh/read write error. I don't quite understand it myself. As for Headless horseman malak... sweet but wow. Alright, I'll be using anothe workbench to have these problems fixed since the rig I've been working on refuses to actually register the changes I make to the .skin file or even the file names of the icons. There'll be an... urgh... version 1.1 out without these errors.. god I hate version 1.1... =(

Lei Hng Wei Posted March 20, 2004 Posted March 20, 2004 Good work. A little tidbit, when the OJP .pk3 is loaded choosing Fast or Strong styles during SP creation does odd things when Malak switches. Ya gotta click the chosen style twice before moving to the next style. It's fine with Medium (default style). Seeing how Malak uses all three styles anyway, don't bother choosing styles when ya create a SP game IMHO. I like how his Mind Trick possesses enemies.

If I understand what you're saying correctly, I think that's because they include the one handed styles used by Tavion and Desann fron JO. Tavion's is the extra Fast stance and Desann's is the extra Strong stance. Try swinging with both Fast stances and both Strong stances and you'll see the difference.

Who do I contact to fix the file at pcgamemods? I sent an email to the other sites with the right file and asking them to replace the initially submitted file... but who to contact for pcgamemods? I know a memebr of these forums is working or admin there but I forgot who it was.. was it eldritch?

Thanks. BTW, when I loaded Malak during one of my saves using a staff, you get an extra medium and uses every staff move, but without the second blade. That's 5 saber styles to choose from.

They whould have to re-rig it to the JO skeleton. There are only a few missing bones and a renamed bone from one skeleton to another. One just needs to rename the lhang-lhand bone, import the missing finger bones, the missing toe bones and the missing facial bones. They don't quite need to wiegh anything to these bones, it would look better if they did. Then they need to compile the model with the JO gla. I don't have JO anymore, so I won't be doing this. It wouldn't take too much time for someone that knew what they were doing... 5-10 mins tops. I'm quite sure the shader and textures would work under JO... I don't see why not. Oh yea one more thing, one would need to modify the .skin files and remove the *off surfaces from it and create a surf-off file for those surfaces. (head with mask/head without mask). Anyone up for the task just post here.

They say the other taunt sounds in those game modes only. Or downlaod OJP and play with that. In SP he just goes through all of them.
