kookaburra
Hi there People! I dont know if this question has been asked already but I thought I ask it any way. now here is the question Who out of the 10 party members did you find most annoying and unpopular----hell----even write in who was the most un-usful party member in your party? (Etc Bastilla,Carth,Canderous,Zalbaar,HK-47,T3-M4,Mision,Junhai,Jolee or your self lol) I found that Mission Vao was the most un-usful and annoying out of all 10 etc because I didn't really use her at all and she was just was a waste of time, any way if you found her usful how did you use her? lol I loved killing her at the end on the dark side! Bobafett12
I thought Carth was the most annoying and most un-usefull and HK-47 I havent even hardly used him yet.
Okoru
I hated Mission the most, both for character and combat, she was useless. The ONLY time she was of any use was on Korriban, for her Security skill, she could open Master U's chambers. Okoru
Boba Rhett
Funny. I almost always use Carth. Actually I rarely use anyone but Carth and Bastilla.
Cassus Fett
The ultimate in uselessness has got to be T3-M4. Such a dorky looking robot and a lousy substitution for R2-D2. He is really only needed to get into the Sith base on Taris. The rest of the time he just stays on the Ebon Hawk. I even strip him of all his gear and sell it in exchange for something useful. Lately, I've found a new appreciation for Canderous and HK-47. If your Repair skill is high enough, you make 3 to 4 repairs to HK-47 to increase his dexterity, constitution, and add +1 regeneration. Wesi
Don't be so quick to give up on Mission. I have a couple of suggestions that may make her a little more interesting. I had the same impression of her that a couple of you do, but I have recently been on a Mission kick. There are two or three ways to make mission a very enjoyable character. MISSION THE SNIPER: This one is very simple and effective. Throw all attribute points into dexterity. Max out sniper shot and implants (for extra dexterity by way of Gordullan? implant), slap the combat sensor on her, and even the dexterity belt. She makes VERY short work of enemies, from long range, with the right rifle or pistol. All the while, she is a perfect compliment to your melee character. and of course... MISSION THE FIGHTER: This one is surprisingly effective, as well. Once again, the idea here is to take full advantage of her sneak attack properties. In this scenario I have found that maxing out her critical strike and dueling works well, as far as feats go. Attributes should be spent on strength (14 will work fine) and constitution (14, again works wonders) to compliment her deep defense penalties afforded by scoundrel's luck. Then, throw on Bandon's armor (or whatever you like) that allows for some movement (high dexterity) and equip her with a debilitating weapon. I suggest running the first two Genoharrdan(sp?) missions to land the strength plus four gauntlets and poison blade. Equip her with strength gauntlets, CNS enhancer and asuitable headband, and watch her transform. As this version of mission advances in levels she will (without player interference) consistently throw critical strikes that poison and stun opponents, activating her sneak attack. She can easily wipe out enemies and stay alive in the thick of battle. Anyway, I hope some of you have fun with these angles, as I have found her much more effective. MasteRevan
It depends on the situation. If I'm going to use Jedi and Melee characters, then I use Bastila and Jolee. If I'm going to use ranged attacks then I go with HK and Canderous. Juhani and Mission I never use, T3's computer skills are really good to have, especially on korriban, you can hack the sith computer an infinite number of times, very useful for exp. points. Zaalbar, if you max his strength, is a good melee character. Carth, an ok ranged character.
Crowy
by far the useless to me and my style of playing would have been mission... t3-m4 was great due to his hacking skills... all she done was whinged about her brother or zaalbar at the start. and carth was great with cassus' armor and blaster, but he had such a negative sh*tty attitude on everything. trissk or whatever was annoying too... but he wasnt a main character so that doesnt really count
Poggle
I gotta say mission as well if you give T3 the best plating and droid weapons plus calos blasters then he can do a job in combat particuarly against dark jedi as he is immune to there force powers and with his superior computer skills dumps mission to the bottom of the pile
Grishnakh
Probably HK-47. You didn't really need him for anything except speaking with sand people, and you didn't have to do that either. He can fight pretty good, but there are many in your party who can fight better, and he isn't very skillfull either compared to mission or T-3. I don't think Mission is useless, she is the most skillfull member in your party along with T-3, she has the highest rank in demolitions, awareness and stealth, and she can be usefull in combat because of the sneak attack feat. The highest level of sneak attack can add over 50 points of damage to attacks from behind or when the target are stunned.
Sam Fisher
I really never used Canderous, or Hk.
Poggle
HK is only good after you get all his functionality so when you repair him or when he finds out you are Revan With a decent ranged weapon (Heavy Repeating blaster) and plating HK is actually pretty good particuarl on the star forge when playing dark side
Venom750
Do you know what i don't get is that on the first planet when Malak and the sith is looking for Bastila and after you rescue her you can still walk right up to the sith soldier and they won't say anything. P.S i thinkmission is probarly the most un-useful charater even.
RenGD-F1
To me,the most annoying characters were Carth and Zaalbar. Carth with his constant whining about loss and betrayal, and Zaalbar because it took him half an hour to say three words in Wookie language.Quite irritating after a while. As for the most useless character,I don't think any of them were completely useless.
Domiii
Useless? T3-M4. I only use him for when I need him, which is right in the start to get in the Sith Base. Favorite? HK-47. Once you upgrade him he is a lean mean killing machine.
TheMadDoofer
Lets see, I never used Mission, T3-M4, or even Juhani. Iused mostly Zaalbar and HK-47. Ah well, to each his own.
PR-0927
Most useless, definitely T3-M4. I used him once, on Taris, to open the Sith Base. Then, he just sat in my ship for the rest of the game. You guys do know that KotOR has an award for the best and coolest new character in video games? Guess who that character is...HK-47. HK-47 was awesome!! Just upgrade him, give him some Mandalorian Heavy Pistols (Calo Nord's pistols), and he'd PWN the battlefield. I used Bastila, Carth, and Jolee the most on Light Side. I used Bastila, Canderous, and HK-47 the most on Dark Side.
Global Strike
I used everyone all the time, except T3-M4, though i did give him good weapons and upgrades though. I put Carth, Canderous, HK-47 and T3-M4 on blasters and i put the rest on melee(though i did put Zaalbar on ranged for early on, but only until i got Baccas Blade). :jawa
Karaak Shamar
i think you guys are wrong about Mission. If she has good dexterity she is very good at breaking you out of the detention cell on the livaithin and she is very good with blasters. I think the useless one is Hk i only used him on tatooine and he is annoying cause he always says Statement: and stuff and he stiil really isnt that helpful after he finds out your Darth Revan
Darth Rivrdance
Carth annoys me the most, but he is a useful character. The fact that Carth is so useful makes him even more annoying because I would prefer to leave him on the Ebon Hawk and thereby avoid his irritating gripes. T3 is the most useless and boring character. T3 is not fun to talk to, and T3 has no storyline. HK-47 is the most fun character because he is irreverently hilarious. I prefer to use HK-47 with either Canderous or Jolee. Jolee is my second favorite character because he is such a cranky old man in a funny kind of way. Kneel before Darth Rivrdance, Lord of the Dance!
kome566
Mission is sooo annoying. That puny teenager girl voice >.< just hearing her gives me a migrain . The most useless? T3-M4!!!!He's so crummy except for getting into the SB and jacking him from his spikes/slicers or whatever he gives u on the ebon hawk
Devilsfanatic
I don't know why so many people are bashing Mission! She was quite helpful to me. I thought HK-47 was very useless. Most of the time I just took my jedi friends with me because I equipped them with healing powers and that came in really useful in battle.

People bash Mission because of her fairly weak combat abilities. I used to share your opinior regarding HK, until I learned that if you have a high enough Repair skill, you can actually upgrade him. Now I'm thinking he's probably one of the better characters

If your repair skill is greater than 20, you can converse with him on the Ebon Hawk and "repair" him. There are 4 repairs available and each one adds attributes to to HK (Dexterity, Regen, and Defense). He ends up being must more powerful when you're finished with him.
