Soime stores already have the game in stock, but not on their shelves, so it doesn't suprise me that Amazon has it.

 

 

And I'm not too interested in Doom 3 anyway.

Wow, I thought I was the only gamer around that wasn't excited about Doom 3. Sure the graphics look good, but the Doom series has never really been my cup of tea.

I am escited about the engine... but not that I must upgrade my system yet again for it in upcoming games :(

Reasons why I can't play Doom 3 :-

 

My PC sucks

I'm not interested in Doom 3

I like UT2004 already

I'm not in for secret releases, weird hype and stuff like that

I like cheese :)

If you're still keeping a GeForce 2MX/4MX and an older Pentium III in your PC, now's the time for an upgrade and here are a few tips. The ideal rig would include a 3GHz Intel Pentium 4 or a 3000+ AMD Barton, 1GB of RAM, a 6800 or X800 GPU based video card, the latest sound card from Creative (Audigy 2 ZS), a Western Digital Raptor (or 2 in a RAID setup), a DVD drive and the best peripherals money can buy (keyboard/mouse). A nice 19" monitor supporting a decent resolution at a higher refresh rate is a must also. I know that paying for all these could kill your summer holiday plans, but we're talking DOOM 3 here, right? Hmmm...chances are, if you can play UT2004 well, you can play Doom 3 fine. What are your system specs?

I didn't even know doom 3 was out this week.

 

never got into doom, and I HAVE played the first 2. Some people like it, some people think it's stupid.

I'm one of the people who think it's retarded.

 

 

 

 

but that will never answer me this question.. Why is everyone so in love with CS? I mean.. Why?

I don't get why people play Counter-strike either, there are much, much better mods for Half-life than Counter-strike. Natural Selection and Day of Defeat are just two examples.

 

I'll probobly ******* Doom 3, meh.
