I never played Metroid (aside from the cool super metroid rom i had a while back)...so i don't know what you're talking about. I used to have Halo, S1 stole it from me when i was away at basic training and i never got it back.... oh well, halo 2 comes out in about 2 weeks....for shooter, i've been playing Ghost Recon Island Thunder...it kicks ass. Redwing Posted October 28, 2004 Share Posted October 28, 2004 I LOVED Metroid Prime. Never played any other Metroid games. I'm not sure if they're similar enough to be compared. Metroid is more atmospheric, like JM said, but it's got some pretty frustrating bits (more so than in Halo. ) It's less of a 'vanilla' FPS [if it's even classified as one], so I don't know how much the two games should be compared.
