Phanto/\/\ Posted September 20, 2004 Posted September 20, 2004 Ok after reading about both of these awesome games i've decided hype controls me haha. well anyway who thinks killzone could actually be a halo 2 killer and that it actually has potential? i think this game looks very promising and might be able to compete with the legend.

DieStarWarsGeek Posted September 21, 2004 Posted September 21, 2004 They seem on different levels to me. Halo 2 I'm excited for cuz, well, it's Halo. But Killzone, I'm watching these videos and I'm seriously impressed by the realness, the movement and graphics. It looks like just another counterstrike/rainbow 6 game to me, but the graphics look intense and the gameplay looks fantastic.

I have, and I can safely say that it doesn't differ from any other first person shooter. Hence why many people see it as being overrated. Personally I'm finished with the first person shooters. After years and years of it it's gotten old and dull and boring.

Rogue15 Posted October 7, 2004 Posted October 7, 2004 hm....i want halo 2. i liked the first one cause of the graphics and storyline, it seemed to pull me in. I also like the splinter cell series, it's fun sneaking around in the shadows, and taking out terrorists in silence. XD

We've all already seen what Halo 2 and Killzone looks like, Killzone is dull and atmospheric while Halo 2 is bright, a little too bright I've noticed. The colours are all very nice but in terms of making it look realistic they went more the way of sci fi movies that make everything look shiney new clean.
