Batman is called the DARK KNIGHT for a reason. Burton did batman right, schulmaker made it into some kind of gay pride circus. Which is not was batman is. Batman is dark, gritty, and very macabre. Insult the purest form of batman movies again and I shall have your head.
IG-64
The most perfect form of batman ever was Batman the Animated Series. The one with the mad hatter and scarecrow and bain. And two face and the insane, not scary, insane joker.

You mean batman in a played out form right? Because the comics are without a doubt THE absolute form to experience batman. I just don't get your excuse about the fake muscles thing, schulmaker used fake muscles too. AND rubber nipples. I enjoyed the animated series, but if they didn't project it towards kids and more towards teens (like batman is supposed to be) they could have made it the dark masterpiece it is supposed to be. Yes, I mean besides the comics. And I never said I liked any batman movies, I think they all suck. But IMO, if you want batman on tv, watch the animated series. Mike Windu
1960's Batman. Hands down. SOCK! ^.^ I've never seen the Burton Batman movies, plan to rent them one day. I have however, seen Batman and Robin... and that was... alright... I was like 10 when I saw it so I didn't really critique it eh

Darth Groovy
Why not just use the guy from Smallville? Not that I have actually seen Smallville, I've just seen pics and commercials. My second choice would be obi, that guy is a sexeh beast! Brian Singer is definitely a good choice to direct a Superman movie. Unlike Sam Raimi, he is NOT a comic book fan, however he sure breathed a great deal of life into the X-Men.
