The Tingler
Yes, March 3rd. One year ago today the life of Sam & Max: Freelance Police was cut short before their time. I expect everyone here to play as many LucasArts adventures as they can get their hands on, and even others like the Discworld and Broken Sword games, or Beneath A Steel Sky on ScummVM. Then raise your glasses in a toast to the funniest adventure that never was. Sniff. And to celebrate, I've made a little quiz. Let's prove who's the Ultimate LucasArts Adventure fan here. NOTE1: I'm sure some obsessive picky fan (like myself) will point out some incorrect answers. Ah well. NOTE2: I'll post the answers either tomorrow, or if I need to give people more time, Monday. Jake
Don't forget the Sam & Max cartoon show, though that wasn't based on a LucasArts property per se, it was a LucasArts adventure game and then a TV series. Or is that defeating the trick of the trick question?
The Tingler
Remio - 9&10. Doesn't mean that's the answer! In fact, re-read the questions... 13. MI1? On what? 16. MI1 doesn't have an alternate ending, just different ways of doing it. We're talkin' completely different here. Fate of Atlantis definitely does not - all the paths meet at the end. Algardex - put the word spoiler in [ ] brackets, then finish with /spoiler in the same brackets. Like so: We're counting both Last Crusade Action games as the same. Instruments of Chaos & Revenge of the Ancients weren't released, were they? They don't count. Otherwise, you haven't fallen for the question - well done! Jake - I count it, although I probably should've worded the question better. So the answer's 2.

The Tingler
I won't accept Monkey Island 1 as a multiple ending I'm afraid. Nor Indy Fate of Atlantis, because if that's true you can include any game where you or another character can die as an "alternate ending". We're talking main character doing different stuff in the final closing moments here. And I'm sort of regretting No. 3 (The Indy Games question) because I've noticed that everyone seems to have just rushed off to a different site and got the answer. And there was far more than I'd heard of. I think this is down to localisation more than anything - I don't think a number of them were actually released in the UK, which is why I haven't heard of them. Rats. I'll accept most of the answers in that case, save Joshi's, who is the only one who fell into the '4' trap. Everyone seems to be getting 11 wrong, so I'll give another clue: What are LucasArts best at? Thunderpeel2001 - All right, I'll accept all those answers bar 8, 9 and 11. Cleverclogs. cappuchok - 6 - No. TV SERIES, not films. 7, 8, 9 - Nope. 11 - nah. Indy Fate had the MI2 control system. 12 - Way to straddle the fence! 16 - Definitely wrong. Joshi - Good for you! I hope everyone follows your example! More fun that way. And don't pick on Cappuchok - I think he did better than you did! 3. You really haven't seen everyone else's, have you? We're having a major debate behind those closed captions! See above. 4 & 5 - Wrong. 7 - Nah, that'd be Postal in general rather than specifically Postal 2. Good answer though! 8 - Who said you had to play them to know the answer to this one? 9 - Oh ha ha. Make us feel old, why don't you. Swine. 10 - Hmm. No. 11 - What was Loom based on? No though. See above. 13 & 14 - Nope. 15 - Half a point. Where?
Algardex
for #11. Loom because of the interface? Loom because it is not very funny? or maybe Loom because it's sales were disappointing, the hint fits with this one too "what are lucasarts best at?" Disappointing their fans
ThunderPeel2001
Indiana Jones 3: everyone seems to have just rushed off to a different site and got the answer. Actually I compiled that list for a website called http://www.IndyGames.com where I got exclusive interviews from Hal Barwood, Noah Falstein and that bloke who did the first ever Indiana Jones game. Sadly the website fell through and http://www.theraider.net went and compiled their own list anyway, so it seemed like there wasn't as much need any more. Indy Fate was a "serious" game? But wasn't Loom also a serious game? I'll take another guess (if that's OK? ) Fate of Atlantis was set more in reality than the others?
