NiKo Posted March 11, 2005 Author Posted March 11, 2005 you're suposed to find the errors, dumbpoops!
Thrik Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 Oh. Well that's easy enough I guess. Their are three erorrs in this sentence There are three errors in this sentence.
DrMcCoy Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 ...I guess it's that the third error is that there are only two error, but when you count that as an error, there are really three error, so that can't be an error, so there are only two errors, making the "three errors" bit an error, but then there are 3 errors *head explodes*

Sivy Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 shouldn't it be 'Their are three erorrs with this sentence'? because the fact that there are only two errors means the third error isn't in the sentence, but rather with the sentence. anyway, enough of this thinking nonsense! lets talk about cheese... i like cheese
Thrik Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 But you missed the period, which is required in any sentence, as well as the two other spelling mistakes. Oops.
Fealiks Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 yeah, but if women didnt theyd be a mess.. :X did i miss something while i was away?

NiKo Posted March 12, 2005 Author Posted March 12, 2005 Quote Originally posted by mangaas there's 2 errors. "their" and "erorrs" Wow, what a paradox then why does it say it has 3 errors? wouldnt that make 'three' a 3rd mistake? dont you roll your eyes at me!
Fealiks Posted March 12, 2005 Posted March 12, 2005 wow thats clever. *looks down* my sigs pretty big.
Guybrush122 Posted March 12, 2005 Posted March 12, 2005 Technically, since you didn't punctuate (lack of period at the end of the sentence) the "three" no longer becomes an error, still leaving us with three errors, just that "three" isn't one of that.
Fealiks Posted March 12, 2005 Posted March 12, 2005 yeah but he explianed to mangaas, that is a paradox if there are only 2 errors, making three an error, but as you explained, the lack of of punctuation made three not an error, leaving us back at the start where a loop begins, i.e., a paradox. thats the cleverist thing i ever said, yet still it doesnt really make sense.
Guybrush122 Posted March 12, 2005 Posted March 12, 2005 Not so. It is no paradox for us that "three errors" was accurate, and not one of the errors itself. It is, however, a paradox for NiKo. And an unintentional one. I wonder if anyone's head has exploded yet? Mine is sort of rumbling.
Fealiks Posted March 12, 2005 Posted March 12, 2005 its not unintentional because of his title. However, you are infact incorrect as thge stimulation of a paradox is upward-thrusting hence the part "three" NOW, if the scentence is a paradox it would bring verbal count waves thus extending the length of your post. now THAT, ladies and gentlemen was a loser trying to sound clever.
Gabez Posted March 12, 2005 Posted March 12, 2005 "Don't believe a word I say". It's funny, because people actually say that sometimes.
