tk102
KeyTweak should not be used for evil! You especially should not switch little things like the Left and Right Arrow or the Shift and Ctrl keys. I need to put that in the manual.

Darth333
err...yes, start installing firefox IE is a paradise for spyware. I use ad-aware and Spybot S&D to get rid of spyware. I also use winpatrol to keep track of what is going on in my computer: http://www.winpatrol.com/
Aash Li
I refuse to tell you "We told you so." Get firefox, seriously! You wont have any more problems with the stuff... and while youre at it, get thunderbird too! Avast is good (I guess) for virus scanning, ad aware se is good for adware and the like, and zone alarm is a good firewall protection. All of them are free. Aash Li
MyIE2 still uses the IE core I believe, which is the whole problem here.

Vladimir-Vlada
Thanks for the tools people. * Turns to adware and spyware programs while downloading and aiming the tools at them... * Say hello to my little friends. Also: I can't believe you people... I was this close to turn to Opera when visiting suspicious securtiy sites, and you just made me change my mind. You blew it! Now, I'm going to use IE with these tools. GO Internet Explorer!
Fuu
You should'nt blame other people for the decisions YOU make. Those tools will help, but you're still going to get more spyware if you use IE. I've already given my suggestion, so I'm not going to repeat it.

lukeiamyourdad
Now, I'm going to use IE with these tools. You do realize you're going to have to do regular clean-ups every week right? With other browsers you'll catch two or three spywares every two months...
lukeskywalker1
Like I said, it all depends on the sites you visit. Don't just click any random link. For the most I part I visit LF (which has had spyware... ewwww.... in the ads) IGN, GameSpot, gametrailers, and a few other sites. But yeah, thats my main daily rutein... of course I visit other sites, but... Maybe I just got lucky using IE (only getting a few viruses)

Most people out there click on those porn ads. Big mistake
lukeskywalker1
Well, I guess the FireFox Adblocking extension would come in handy then :-D lol. Nah, but, a lot of people have said to me "Viruses just keep coming in through my internet..." and I don't believe them. You either keep visiting bad sites (mainly porns sites, but I have heard Cheat Code sites carry spyware and trojans now!) or somehow you grabbed one nasty little peice of crap, that keeps downloading more and more viruses, spyware, and trojans. It really sucks if thats the case... cause you could have litterally THOUSANDS of trojans. (Wait a sec, TrojAn or TrojOn?) Then again, you could just have rotten luck. Like I said, even good old LucasForums has had trouble with these problems (but it wasn't there faults, STUPID ADS!) Hah, another reason why the adblocking extension is useful! Vladimir-Vlada
Well, the spy-ware/ad-ware crisis is over. I got rid of the most dangerous ones. You do realize you're going to have to do regular clean-ups every week right? With other browsers you'll catch two or three spywares every two months... I am not going to start arguing with you, again. I am NOT going to start arguing with you, AGAIN. I AM NOT GOING TO START ARGUING WITH YOU, AGAIN. Hey! It looks like that this self-motivating thing really works. Like I said, it all depends on the sites you visit. Don't just click any random link. I mostly visit game sites. But also the no-cd crack sites (I know that the second thingis dumb, but what can you do). I recieve the most ads when visiting File Front sites. Could they posses hidden spy-ware/ad-ware? El Sitherino
Haha, crack sites are a breeding ground of malicious software. It's like the friendly neighborhood crack-whore, just ripped full of VD.
