Smilodon
I'm really curious how Path of Neo will be once it's released... wasn't very excited about the last two movies and Enter the Matrix, but that alternative ending would be very interesting ^_°

RevanA4
more info on matrix path of neo ok I've read a few articles on this game and lets just say if it turns out like they say it is gonna it is gonna be the best game of all time ok some features they are haveing a move level up system the ability to fly only after becoming the one the ability to stop bullets and eventually push them back at the enemies this will only come after you become the one you will have the ability to make plot changing decisions like going on the motor cycle with trinity when morphious first calls you and stuff like that more to come later though if this hasn't peeked your intrest edit: this game has moved to the top of my must get list oh and the brother that created the matrix are working very closely with the development team so this game should be the best ever
Bastila
I going to get it as its neo i did like the enter the matrix game but it was kinda easy i quick to complete i hope this one is hard.
Aristotélēsticus
NEO is my favorate hero, i am very delighted to hear this news, as for the movie, i love the first one "the matrix" as for the end, i find it very realistic as the two (neo and smith) are two sides of one equation thus the two sides depend on eachother and not the opposit....anyway i just got board of the -good guy win and live a happy life- ending. lukeiamyourdad
a move level up system This isn't anything original. the ability to fly only after becoming the one Nothing new. the ability to stop bullets and eventually push them back at the enemies this will only come after you become the one This sounds pretty interesting. you will have the ability to make plot changing decisions like going on the motor cycle with trinity when morphious first calls you and stuff like that more to come later though if this hasn't peeked your intrest Could turn out nice or turn into a nice mess. oh and the brother that created the matrix are working very closely with the development team so this game should be the best ever You have an awfully short memory. They worked closely on both Enter the Matrix and The Matrix Online. We both know how those games turned out to be. Enter the Matrix was simply an alpha version of what the game should have been. The only thing people bought it for was the extra footage. The Matrix Online was nothing special when it was released. It was directed at the most hardcore Matrix fans. It is already dying. Considering their track record, I think people should be more skeptical of what this game should turn out like. Then again, knowing what marketing is, I understand how kids can jump into that bandwagon quite easily.
RevanA4
but enter the matrix was both rushed and under staffed and they are working much closer in this one than the other two and their game engine can handel 1500 agent smiths attacking neo at once and have them act individually. and I am sckeptical that is why I've been reading articles on it to see if it will be any good
ET Warrior
The war ended in a truce. A bloody truce. Geez, you can't get a more anti-climactic ending then that. The hero even dies for a simple truce. . The hero died for peace and the freedom of the human race. Why it seems necessary to destroy the enemy as opposed to merely ending the death and slavery...well to each his own. I don't want to get into a detailed discussion of the matrix sequels though, as that it not the point of this thread...
Prime
It will be great if this game doesn't suck balls. The franchise deserves better than what it has gotten so far, game-wise. But personally, I'd rathee be able to play as Morpheus.
Hannibal
It looks good. The way i see it, Enter the Matrix would have been a slightly better game if they let you play as Neo. So I have high hopes for this. BTW- Wow who resurrected this thread.

Hannibal
No, but he can hit a curve ball. One of the funniest lines from a movie: Are you trying to say that Jesus Christ can't hit a curve ball?
montnoir
That's like making a Star wars game and you get to be C3P0. It's more like making a Star Wars game and you get to be Jaden Korr, Darth Revan, An Exile, Clone #38, a LEGO doll, Kyle Katarn, or some other minor character with a couple of lines like Jango Fett. Astrotoy7
Can Jesus fly? hey, he rose to heaven did he not ?? Even in some film adaptations they depict this from first person perspective, where the camera is going up, up beyond the clouds. Of course, dont forget Neo also 'died to save the human race' so the inferences are pretty obvious Why do scriptwriters have to make such parallels when trying to establish a characters greatness...its just un-original more than insulting to any religious group who worship Jesus(this includes Muslims). I was glad Lucas added that "Anakin was conceived by the midichlorians" because when Schmi described her "immaculate conception" it was like Anakin was also taking the 'Path of Neo'.... Cant everyone just be like Superman and be born in an crystal cave with Marlon Brando as their dad and sent off in little capsule to save the world of men mtfbwya
REDJOHNNYMIKE
he he, I would have though a moderator would know what allegory is, the symbolism was one of the things that made it great, and it wasn't all Christ references either. The difference between the Matrix and Star Wars was that the midichlorian thing was done in an extremely corny way. But I'm sure you will disagree, it is inevitable... Hannibal
Of course they borrowed from Jesus' story. You can't create a story now a days about one person sacrificing themselves without a Jesus comparison. It's not insulting(to those not over sensitive) and it's not the first time it's happened in movies or books. The Bible and other religious works are some of the oldest writings that still exist on this planet and Billions are effected by them. It be hard to believe that while all these people are effected that it wouldn't appear in popular culture in some way or form. In other words the Matrix and Star Wars aren't the first or last time we'll see these comparisons. Especially in the US we like the one here sacrificing his/herself for the good of others. I know I do. Also George Lucas himself has said in many interviews that he borrows from Religious works.
