I've seen it, I loved it, I'm going back for more...

This thread is stickied here for all those who have seen Revenge of the Sith. It's best to localise the excitement so that we don't get a million threads saying the same thing. You don't need to use spoiler tags. This thread is only for those who have seen the movie and want to brag about seeing it and want to disguise what they saw.

just got home from the midnight showing. pretty good movie overall. it IS a starwars flick so expect corny lines and a few specks of dialogue that really should have been omitted.... along with some seriously kickass fights and lots and lots of explosions...... oh yeah the plot was fun too if anybody cares about that crap :D

Well, I got out of the movie theater about 4 hours ago, and right now my feeling about this movie are pretty mixed. I think it would have made 2 really great movies, but I'm not sure how I feel about it as it is. I would have much prefered some buildup to the action scenes, and for the earlier action scenes to be expanded a little bit. I really like Dooku's character, but they kind of wasted him in this movie. I would have liked more looking for Grievous, instead of just landing on the planet, being told where to go, then hopping down and fighting him. Also the fight itself could have been more extensive (same as the Dooku fight), and I think it could have been one of the best duels SW has known. The Mace fight could also have been much better I think. His duel with Palpatine could have been spectacular, and I didn't like the way the battle was quickly over when Anakin showed up (although this alone I wouldnt mind as much, because it was something of a heat of the moment thing). Aside from the way it felt a little too condensed, I also thought that some of the special effects were overdone. Some of the stuff looked a little silly to me. Aside from those two things, I can't really think of anything I didn't like (maybe a few little things here or there). I need a few days for it to sink in, and a few more viewings to decide how much I liked it, if it was great or just good.

P.S. Please excuse me if I don't make much sense, I'm kinda sleep deprived right now.

Saw it, loved it.

BUT-

General Grievous should have actually killed some Jedi's, I was dissapointed that the fall of the Jedi was mostly handled by Clone Troopers. The Jedi went out like suckers, especially sad to see Aayla Secura go down so easily. If General Grievous or Darth Vader had cut her in half I would have at least felt her death was handled well.

Maybe it's the fact I was wetting my pants in anticipation of Aayla and Grievous getting screen time. :(

OH, & WHAT was the coughing fits all about? :S

Saw the midnight showing last night. ROTS is awesome, its probably my favourite star wars film now. One or two scenes I didn't love but otherwise it was better than I could ever have expected. Hayden and Ian were awesome in the film, they were the highlights in terms of the acting. I loved R2's scenes in the film, its about time he kicked some ass.

I saw the midnight showing too. Dude, people were coming in dressed up and stuff. The Stormtroopers, scouts, Darth Vader, and Palpatine were there. Anyway the movie was the best one I'd say(in terms of the new trilogy). My most favorite fight scene was the, but of course, the Anakin V.S. Obi-Wan. It was awesome, Anakin kept on attcking until he got tired like hell and Obi just took all of it and waited.

The Qui-Gon thing was because Qui-gon learned to be a "spirit" like in the original three and tought Yoda to do it and Obi aswell.

Sidious was kind of disturbing but when he's fighting mace he's like "ggaaah, yaaah" like some animal or something. Anyway, The only problem with the movie, I'd say, is that there's too many scene shifts. Like every 2 min. at the end of the movie, the scene shifts to one place then the other. Irritating.

Overall-10/10

For those of you who are disappointed at the fact that some things were cut out of the cinema version of the movie... just wait till you see the DVD version. Lucas has said in an Australian interview that A LOT had to be cut out of the cinema release, but it will all be put back into the DVD version.

Basically what was cut out was the birth of the Rebel Alliance.
