ChAiNz.2da
i personally like duel sabers and i was wondering what other people might use in games or whatnot? Welcome to the Forums DuleLightsaber! I agree, I tend to dual wield 2 single sabers, but I also have a double-saber in my alternate weapon switch (usually loaded up with anti-droid / shield upgrades). Though I like the idea behind the Saber Forms, I find I usually have mine set to Force Channel moreso than a fighting form Now if they were to have included different fighting style animations with those Forms, then I might think twice... hehehe
Smilodon
I still prefer one single bladed saber though Dueling is fairly underpowered in TSL -_- It just has more style, just take Count Dooku °_^
Lorden Darkblade
I used mostly dual sabers. Now tho, I'm starting to use a single saber specially in KotOR2 with the Form III for all ocasions and the Form II or VII for "bosses" I'm starting to like using single sabers
Commas
i almost exclusivley dual weild, but i try to give my npcs the style i think best fits them, except i almost never give my npcs two single hilts, i keep them as either one saber or double bladed saber. it makes my character look cooler if he is the only guy with two sabers walking around. Bob Lion54
There's something classic and regal about a single blade. If we where speaking of real life, that would be my preference. For the game, I go with duel wield. Purple in the right hand, Gold in the left. I grew up watching LSU football, so the colors are "ingrained" in me
Hallucination
I go with whichever one fits my idea of my classes (guardian=double blade, consular=one lightsaber, sentineldual wielding). Sometimes I just shake it up a bit with no reason.
stingerhs
depends on the mood i'm in. if i want to get things done quickly: duels. if i'm in for some style: single. if i want to look like Maul: staff. basically, it switches from game to game as to which style i choose. MdKnightR
I got the doubleblade and 2 saber wielding out of my system after the first couple of playthroughs of the original KOTOR. I almost always use a single saber for my main character, even though others in my party may be equiped otherwise.
Smilodon
Yea, I do the same. I leave dual wield mainly for Handmaiden and Visas, my other Jedi use single lightsabers.

Prime
Single lightsaber for me. I am very classic that way.
RedHawke
^^^^ I'm with Prime on this one... Single saber for me too.
(Strider)
Single saber is the best (IMO). It gives you a sense of that old SW feel, and it is much more accurate (in my case).
Bastila
I use duel they look good and it's more harder to master so more of a challage as well, also you could use just one bit of the saber as well, so it can kinda be a single as well.
witchfinder
Real Universe with lightsabers: Single. Other choices would just get you killed. SW Universe: Double bladed.

Patomon5
nope My hiten mitsurugi style would pwn any style It has never been defeated when used by a true master;P Uh... unless you just brought 2 swords:ninja1: to a gun fight. I tend to stick to single saber form, duel wield is flashy and flashy is not a good trait (for Jedi). Also look at the duel wield track record. Anakin duel wield = lost an arm General Grevious = dead There's a reason Yoda, Mace, Chancellor, Obi, the rest use single form. Now, double blade form is for intense sith action. Then again in Kotor anything goes.
RevanA4
a true master of the hiten mitsurugi style can move so fast that his/her movements can't be see it has even defeated a gatling gun
Patomon5
a true master of the hiten mitsurugi style can move so fast that his/her movements can't be seen, it has even defeated a gatling gun If used in real life, with the devolepment of the modern gun "Sorry ,no chance." And this gunman is ready for you to use any of the following # Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu Do Ryu San(Ground Dragon Flash) = Giant blow against the ground, causing massive airwaves/rocks to strike enemies. # Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu Ryu Tsui Sen(Dragon Mallot Flash) = Jumps up in the air really high and then strikes down hard from above. # Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu Ryu Kan Sen(Dragon Wind Up Flash) = Lunges toward enemy using a very powerful twist of the body doing a sideways slash. # Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu Ryu Sou Sen(Double Dragon Flash) = Multiple Slashes against enemy. # Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu Ryu Kan Sen Tsumuji(Dragon Wind Up Flash Hair Spin)= Tsumuji(gyrate) involves higher speed than Ryu Kan Sen. Basically same attack but more powerful. # Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu Ryu Sho Sen(Dragon Rising Flash) = Rises up from ground, using all force in an uppercut, hitting vital points. # Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu Ryu Tsui San Zan = Same as Ryu Tsui Sen except sword is pointed down to pierce. # Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu Hi-Ryu Sen(Flying Dragon Slash) = Performed by left hand only, attack uses centrifugal force to create a powerful blow with the hilt in a persons weakness, like in between the eyes. # Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu Sou Ryu Sen(Paired Dragon Flash) = Paired attack with sword and sheath. If sword is blocked, sheath comes in and hits enemy. # Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu Ryu Kan Sen Arashi(Dragon Wind Up Flash Storm) = More powerful version of Tsumuji + more damaging. # Zantetsu = Iron cutting technique. Can use it anywhere excempt underwater. # Shihara Dori = Defensive technique in which user grabs enemies sword. # Ryu Mei San = User quickly sheathes sword, causing a sound that distorts the hearing of those with enhanced senses. # Modoshi Giri = User can cut something in half and then rejoin it together and make it seem as if there was no cut whatsoever. # Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu Ku Zu Ryu Sen(Nine Headed Dragon Flash) = Attack learned before the most powerful succesion technique. Strikes with the sword nine times on the 9 vital points, head, right leg, left leg, right arm, left arm, between the legs, the chest, right shoulder, and left shoulder, making this move virtually impossible to block. # Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu Ouki Ama Kakeru Ryu No Hirameki(Heaven's Soaring Dragon Flash) = THE SUCCESION TECHNIQUE. Normally when using the Batto Jutsu, the right leg is placed in front of the left leg so as not to cut your leg off when drawing your sword from the left, but with this you put your left leg in front giving your attack the most power it can get, and must twist your body at the right time so as not to cut your leg off. In order to do this he must have a strong will to live. This move is actually a combo of two, because if this move is executed properly, if the first hit is blocked, then the person spins around, and slices again. It works because apparently after the first strike, the sword somehow makes a kindof vortex, sucking in the enemy, allowing the person to be close enough to be sliced again, kind of like a vacuum. Patomon5
No need to prove you wrong, you do that well enough on your own. You're free to choose any style you want, what I find lacking is your humility in saying that your style is unbeatable. Nothing is unbeatable. Why do you think I mentioned a gun? If your proposed style is unbeatable why isn't still used today? No need for me to go into a history lesson to teach you that. Research the decline in the use of the sword and the rise in the use of the gun on your own. BTW That style your talking about is from a CARTOON. The character does NOT EXIST. The Animators who created him, draw him to WIN his battles. If they wanted, they could have him jump to the moon, draw his sword, and cut the moon in half. Your argument is pointless because any cartoon can claim to have the greatest character, do the greatest thing, and be the best in anything the character does or wants to accomplish. Did the writers of your cartoon consult with every other animator on our planet to verify that he is the greatest? Did they consult with the animators of Justice League Unlimited? I think not. Once again choose any style of combat you wish, explain why you chose it, but I find it somewhat insulting to say it is the greatest and unbeatable. Also congratulations on the name change.
