MdKnightR Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 Is there anyone here who has been following this show? It is absolutely awesome! I have watched it from the beginning and I wish that it had seasons that were longer than 13 episodes each.
MdKnightR Posted September 22, 2005 Author Posted September 22, 2005 What, no one has answered this thread? Does no one here watch this show? If not, you are missing out! Of course, it is on late and it certainly isn't meant for a less than mature audience with all the violence, language, and occasional nudity, but it is a great show nonetheless.
ET Warrior Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 It sounds vaguely familiar, but I've no idea when it's on, what station, or what it's even about.
Astrotoy7 Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 yes, it does sound vaguely familar.....I mustve read about it somewhere as I doubt I would have seen it and forgotten about it.... a great older show was Chris Carter's *Millenium* awesomez. Just seen a lot of them on DVD. They hold up pretty well mtfbwya
Hallucination Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 Never heard of it. Is it only american?
Bob Lion54 Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 I much prefer Nip/Tuck or The Shield, as far as FX goes. (they freaking rock) I've only seen a few episodes of Rescue Me, but from what I've seen, its good. Heres the imdb link for everyone thats curious. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0381798/ And here is their official site on the FX site http://www.fxnetworks.com/shows/originals/rescueme/main.html
El Sitherino Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 ... I hate nip/tuck. Only good thing about it is Famke. Starved is also a badass show.
MdKnightR Posted September 23, 2005 Author Posted September 23, 2005 For those of you who don't know about Rescue Me, it comes on at 10pm eastern time on Tuesdays on FX during the summer months. It is a show about a group of New York City firemen and their messed up lives in the wake of 9/11. Denis Leary (yes, the comic) created and stars in the show as Tommy Gavin. He is a recovering alcoholic who sees ghosts of those people he couldn't save in the line of duty. The main ghost that he talks with most often in his cousin who was killed in the World Trade Center. Really a kick a$$ show!
Lando Griffin Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 saw it , i just watched the part where his kid got hit by a car when he was riding his bike, i laughed my a** off. Its a good show, it can be funny at times.
El Sitherino Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 i just watched the part where his kid got hit by a car when he was riding his bike, i laughed my a** off. I'm a bit of a cruel bastard myself, but that's just kinda wrong....
Lando Griffin Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 yeah but i cant help but to laugh at it.
MdKnightR Posted September 25, 2005 Author Posted September 25, 2005 I know this is going a bit off topic, but I can't see how anyone can laugh at that! My best friend hit and killed a little boy when we were 16 and he still hasn't lived it down (we are 34 now). It was a total accident because of faulty school bus safety lights and therefore he was not brought up on charges. It is horrible to think that someone would laugh at such a thing!
Hallucination Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 Killed a little boy? I don't think anyone would ever live it down... let alone in only 18 years.
warchild75 Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 Never heard of it. Me neither anyone care to explain it.Probably cant get it over here in the uk, although i do have cable.
Lando Griffin Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 i laugh at it because its not real, if it really happened i wouldnt laugh, but its a t.v show so lighten up.
