RobQel-Droma
I saw a similar thread in the Republic Newsfeed section and so I thought I'd make a similar one here. What do you think that the Exile's prestiege class should be?- Weaponsmaster, Watchman, Master, Marauder, Assassin, Or Lord?
90SK
I think watchman. It seems fitting that whe'd follow Ulic-Quel Droma's steps, seeing as he's all "exiled". Yeah, that or Sith Lord.
Darth333
Kavar says he would have made him Jedi Guardian so the natural progression would be Weapon master. "But I considered you a friend. I even tried to convince you to become a Jedi Guardian. We could've used someone like you."
TheGreenGoblin
I'd lean towards Weapon Master or Watchman, I'll go with Weapon Master but either one would work.
lukeiamyourdad
I personnally think Watchman but it could be anything. There's not a lot of clues about the Exile that could make us "decide" on what class he would be.
SITHSLAYER133
interesting see with revan we had a lot more materail to go so this is hard
TheGreenGoblin
The Exile struck me as a field general. Revan was the master strategist, but the Exile was a tactician. We definitely know he participated in front-line combat based on his memory from the Dxun charge through the minefield, as well as numerous bits and pieces of dialogue indicating that he knew what war was like from experience. Of course this doesn't exclude the Master but the other two classes strike me as more likely.
Prime
He is definitely military oriented.
BattleDog
I'd vote Weapon Master, simply because Kavar was his master and he was a soldier, makes sense. No realy proof though.
YertyL
I thought Kavar was a sentinel ...? (I am not sure since I own the German version of KOTORII, but when you first meet Master Kavar, Mandalore says something that could be roughly translated as: "Kavar? The famous jedi sentinel? We thought you and not Revan were going to lead the Republic troops against us.")
BattleDog
Must be a typo, He says "Kavar, the famous Jedi Guardian?" This is born out by his blue sabres.
The Doctor
I think Jedi Master, as he/she trains other people in your party in the ways of the Force.
Demonic Spoon
Depends. The Exile's history is dependant on the chat choices you make. You basically determine his history, and thus what class he should be. For instance, when you talk to Atris and tell her why you defied the Order, you can choose a line of reasoning more in line with sith or jedi. TheGreenGoblin
I'll go with the doc, Master for the reasons he states Well, see changing your crew into Jedi is totally optional, and besides its not like a Weaponmaster and Watchman can't do the same. Kavar says he wanted to train the Exile and he was a Weaponmaster.
CrudeMatter
Is this about personal preference in play, or is this for established backstory if the Exile is mentioned in pt III? In play- all of them... re-play variety is one of the main values of rpgs. I like mixing up the class combinations with different skill/power profiles. ie. a guardian/watchman pistoleer/healer... or a sentinel/master tinkerer/wizard... or a consular/wep.master sabreur/rifleman. There are many more charachters to be made than by class combinations alone. for establishing backstory- hmm... I don't know that it matters, since any jedi class would be accepted as a leader in a military situation, though it might seem to fit guardian better. Not to mention that the movies seem to pass out the 'General' rank rather generously. ie. gen. solo, gen. calrissian, etc. I mean what are a smuggler and an ex-gambler doing as generals? Rebels must go through generals pretty fast. In republic days, jedi are supposed to be the elite diplomats that have the capability to lead an armed action if things degrade that far. Does anyone remeber if Kavar says the guardian line if you are a guardian/wep.master? I don't recall any of the other masters mentioning your class or would-be class, so that might be the only comment that sticks. But to me that says the exile was not a guardian... and since consular is recommended as an 'advanced play' class, and all classes would take padawans... I'd say that makes it sentinel. Total stabbing in the dark, at any rate. I thought Kavar was a sentinel ...? (I am not sure since I own the German version of KOTORII, but when you first meet Master Kavar, Mandalore says something that could be roughly translated as: "Kavar? The famous jedi sentinel? We thought you and not Revan were going to lead the Republic troops against us.") I never really liked the similarity of these titles because of how closely their root meanings were. The words 'guardian' and 'sentinel' are pretty much synonymous. It always bugged me. I would have chosen something with a more front-lines, assault kind of meaning for the guardian class' title... off the top of my head, something like "Liberator". But in the english version, Mandalore uses the word guardian. If the titles make sense it is only because of the implied level of active intent... a sentinel sits and watches in case of trouble or to ward off trouble by its presence(gargoyle), while a guardian often escorts because trouble is actively expected(body guard). It doesn't surprise me at all that something gets lost in translation with these two titles.
MdKnightR
I voted Weaponmaster. He was a general in the Mandalorian wars, so that is why I would choose that.

Melly
Jedi Master for me. I play Consulars so it was a natural choice. And like Doc said you train pratically everyone on the ship.
Bob Lion54
Jedi Master for me. I play Consulars so it was a natural choice. .... Same here. It really just depends on how you like to play. Ain't it cool being a Jedi Master.

Hallucination
??? What class is he? Your joking right? You play the game, you decide what he is. Thats why you choose at the beginning isn't it? For me he was first a sentinel and then a watchman. But it all depends on who you are, so I am not voting, and I will never vote on something that is supposed to be open-ended. No offence intented to anyone here or the thread starter.
