Kain
Dude, Highlander 2 is wicked scary. But not in a horror sense - more of a 'OMFG I CAN'T BELIEVE I WASTED MONEY!!! WAAAAAAAAAH!!!!' sense. because whats scarier than wasting money?
Kurgan
Oh yes, you're right Ghostbusters should be up there for sure! Highlander 2, Halloween material? Yeah right. However, "Manos: The Hands of Fate" and other MST3Kified movies definately qualify (like the Screaming Skull!).
jon_hill987
Who ya gonna call! I forgot about Ghostbusters, but which one is the best...
Boba Rhett
The first one, of course!. I fell asleep during the Exorcist. The Evil Dead Trilogy is where the money is at!

Boba Rhett
Peter Jackson's specialty as a young man was over the top movies like that. You should check out his others... which I can't remember the names too right now... They're a hoot!. Check out Frighteners too. It was his first Hollywood movie and it stars MJ Fox. jon_hill987
which I can't remember the names too right now... Braindead, and it is brilliant. the bit where he crashes the zombie "party" at his house with a lawnmower is the best ever

Darth Groovy
HA!! I didn't hafta spend a DIME on tires! I could have spent over $200 on so many more wonderfull things than four pieces of lousy black rubber... It's a horror and a tradgedy.
Nalukai
meh i watched the first 30 minutes of Eraserhead at a bros house he loaned it to me 2 weeks ago... i still havent watched the rest... i think the first 30 minutes was enough for me. Ill take Blue Velvet, Lost Highway, or Twin Peaks instead...
lassev
... watch it late at night (like at 1 or 2 at night) with all the lights out by yourself... I don't think they recommend watching TV in the dark, with all lights out... Oh, maybe I missed the point...
Lightsaberboy
ive been watching a lot of amc and bravo since friday since they were doing some kind of horror marathon. they showed a bunch of nightmare on elm streets and friday the 13ths, which i hadnt really seen before, or if i did i dont remember. after watching my fill, just for the heck of it i rented Freddy vs Jason, which was 'meh' but fun to see them duke it out. I always liked Freddy more than Jason. Jason was kinda dull and had no personality.
acdcfanbill
hrm, heres a few i like but havent seen mentioned... The Howling - good werewolf flick, matches american werewolf in london for transformation imho Last House on the Left - craven In The Mouth of Madness - great overlooked carpenter flick imho Castle Freak - jeffery combs and stuart gordon reunite outside of re-animator series:) Session 9 - great overlooked horror/thriller Dagon - mix of two lovecraft stories from stuart gordon again. It was made outside the US, but has a Combs look alike, i guess they couldnt get him for it. This is about the only movie I have ever cringed at the gore on. I cant say what, because it might ruin it for anyone watching most of these arnt for kids or the weak stomached, i love them

Darth Groovy
Nosferatu. Never seen it, but it looks damn creepy. (previously mentioned by Chase) If you can, try to snag the copy that has the Type O' Negative soundtrack. I got that one, and it ads to the effect in a good way. GUNNER
Ok, so it might not be a holloween/horror flick but it will creep the shait out of ya. Well it did to me anyways.... EVENT HORIZON!
Mike Windu
haha, Nosferatu made an appearance in Spongebob. That would kill any sort of horror that the movie would make for me.
Lightsaberboy
he was also in an episode of Angel i believe. Angel staked him rather quickly.
