toms
Seems like there is a rash of 80s movies being reduxed, remade or sequels. Its starting to make me feel old. In a few years when I refer to the movie predator people will think i'm talking about the new technicolor one, not the old B&W silent classic... Predator remake? Robocop Redux 3d CGI 3D TMNT OMG! Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
Mike Windu
Toms, you know the TMNT have had a new series out since 2003 right? The new movie will be based off of the 2003 series and the 2nd movie, I believe. and it's going to kick ass. >_>
acdcfanbill
I really hate the movie industry right now, and it makes me not feel bad for them at all if they might be losing money do to downloading.

Katarn07
I heard rumors of a sequel to Labyrinth and some wishful thinking for a sequel to Willow. I like both of those movies but sequels? Even with Frank Oz David Bowie and Warwick Davis/ Val Kilmer they'd most definately suck
nas77
For effing sake, the last thing we need is more WWE morons trying their hand at 'acting'.

That said, hoggle rocks.. but CGI hoggle??? The only good thing about willow was Val Kilmer's character (and his missus).. other than that it was pretty generic sci-fi that existed only to show of the new special effects (morphing). And those effects aged faster than Solid Snake. A sequel would be pointless. PS/ Was tat the last good film val kilmer ever did? Oh hang on, there was Heat... StormHammer
All this focus on remakes and rehashes and sequels upon sequels simply conveys to me that most movie producers have run out of ideas. They seem to have a checklist for movie making in Hollywood these days... Overuse of CGI effects - check Villain with English accent - check Lots of explosions - check Car chase sequence - check Humorous one-liners - check WWE 'star' to kick ass - check Bullet-time - check Switch camera view every 10 seconds for people with low attention spans - check A decent actor - negotiable A decent plot - not needed 90% of the stuff they make these days is recycled crap. Remakes are usually 10x worse than the original movies because you can't remake a classic. Very few sequels manage to be as good as the first movie - and a third in the series is almost guaranteed to suck. Movies of old TV shows and games should simply stop production immediately because most of them up to now have just been incredibly bad. Sometimes Nostalgia is a really bad thing, and the movie industry should take note of the fact. It's time to move on and explore new territory.
