Renegade Angel
We have a Christmas Party this year, but it's sorta in school. You do't really have to stay in your class, though, you can walk around in the hall and crap, it should be very interesting. My Science teacher and my reading teacher told me they're going to hang a mistletoe.... Oh geez..... *Prays he's not with someone other than his girlfriend at the Social* Did you guys ever have a school Christmas Party?
Snafu7
Back when I went to a Catholic school we would have one for about an hour at the end of the day, but I haven't had one in a long time.
The Doctor
I haven't had a school Christmas party since grade 6. That was five years ago now... holy crap. Anyway, if there were somthing like that at my school, I would just skip. I refuse to go to school for things like that (ie "Healthy Active Living Day"). 90SK
No, we had "holiday parties". Sanctioning one specific religious holiday would be offensive to all the other religions, and sanctioning them all would be offensive to atheists. Â This year we're having a "winter prom", or something along those lines. I'm not going to attend. The last rave dance I attended was a bit to...suffocating for me. REDJOHNNYMIKE
Thanks for the reminder Renegade, I forgot to finish my mistletoe pimp hat:D But I've never bothered going to one of those parties (the fact I've only attended one year of school had nothing to do with it;))
Ztalker
We have some big time parties at our school... Â With Christmas, a teacher in a weelchair rolled round in a Santa-suit, and he purposely made fun out of some guys and girls... The Exam party's are large too...it always has a dresscode..this years one was: America Extra Large. So a guy walked in as Abraham Lincoln, another guy as with a full rugby suit.. Â All i mean to say: F*ck mistletoe..we live in a free country, aye? Just avoid them...i speek out of exprience, since my girlfriend didn't appreciate it last year ^^
Vladimir-Vlada
You people acctuely have Christmas Parties in school?! So it is like 'Let's have a nice party so that we could celebrate the joy of Christmas and the whole lof of presents and turkey.'... Nice for you. Bad for me. Â We go to school the day the before Christmas and we work like we should. No greetings, no merry-christmassing, no joy. We work and work and work until the end of the day. Ztalker
We don't really celebrate it... Christmas isn't a big thing here, but is't an excuse for having a big party... We also had a party called: Proud to be Fout (Proud to be Wrong) were everyone dresses like a maniak...mate of mine went in a mini-skirt, another mate with afro-hair... Â *sees it's totally off topic* Â I talk to much.....*sigh*

Yeah, heaven forbid we have vacations and fun   'Course, we don't have a Christmas party here, but the last day of classes is tomorrow...So a party would be awfully premature. The Doctor
^You get out tommorow? Lucky jerk. I don't get out until the 23rd. Better than Vlad, I suppose. Sorry about that, by the way. That has to suck.
El Sitherino
Colleges generally get out earlier than gradeschools. Â We had holiday festivities as well, except like all school functions, they sucked.

Hallucination
We always had a party in elementary school, but now all our teachers decide if we're gonna have a party or something like that. The only cool teacher in the school is my Science Humains teacher, unfortunatly.
Jeff
I always had some kind of party/dance at my junior high, but we never have in-school parties or anything now. I think there's a Christmas dance like next Friday or something but it's not in-school, and nobody goes to the lame school dances at my school anyways.
