MachineCult
I only really play the PS2 so I guess thats my favourite, it's got more games to my taste.
Katarn07
DS is not a gameboy. I voted that, the XBOX, X360 (although I've played one less than an hour's time), and older systems. In particular, the SNES and N64.

Jeff
I only have an XBOX out of all those and I like it a lot, but I don't plan on getting XBOX360. I'd really like to get a DS, I think those are really cool
TSR
xbox. would vote 360, but theyve made it way to complicated. ITS A GAMES SYTEM, NOT A WAY OF LIFE!

Lynk Former
There are many things wrong with that poll, and the PSP missing is not one of them... How can you not put the Dreamcast up there?
Diego Varen
There are many things wrong with that poll, and the PSP missing is not one of them... How can you not put the Dreamcast up there? Probably because Dreamcast is part of the older systems...
Lynk Former
Dreamcast is part of the DC/GCN/PS2/XBOX generation. It was the first console released of that generation Exactly like how the 360 is the first of the nextgen.
Hallucination
Xbox, mostly because of Halo and KOTOR.

Lynk Former
@ venom_tyrant: Don't flamebait. I'm sure you're well aware that the Dreamcast was very popular when it was out and the only reason Sega doesn't make consoles anymore is because of things that happened beforehand. The Dreamcast had a large library of GREAT games which were all ahead of their time. Furthermore, the Dreamcast has a cult following and a lot of members here who are into gaming respect Sega and the Dreamcast. So I don't think you really meant it sucked did you
Astrotoy7
I'm lucky enough to own a PS2, GC, PSP and GBA SP. I never got an XBox because most of its games I wanted to play are available on these other consoles or PC(eg. KOTOR). I got the PS2 first as it had the games I wanted to play most. I got the GC later because I wanted to play Rogue Squadron 2 and 3. I am considering selling/trading them and my psp towards a ps3 eventually I am wondering what new SW games they will come up for the new consoles....Lucasarts has pretty much covered every genre now, although not terribly well in each respect.. we'll just have to wait and see. We'll probably get Battlefront III on next gen, but(as Lynk has informed me) the likelihood of a Rogue Squadron 4 for the N-Rev is low mtfbwya
Lynk Former
The likelihood of a Rogue Squadron 4 for any system PERIOD is nonexistent.
Lieutenant_kettch
DS is not a gameboy. forgive me if i'm wrong, but when Nintendo announced the upcoming DS, they introduced it as the next generation game boy, or the game boy for the next generation (don't remember how they worded it) but they specifically called it a game boy also, why oh dear force why is NES not listed, it deserves to be on this poll, it is the ebst system, and you all know it
Lynk Former
You mean the DS lite? The DS (original or lite), was never called a Game Boy by Nintendo. Nintendo purposely did this because they didn't want to use the Game Boy brandname for the system, it was a separate entity. This is because of two reasons, the first is because the DS was fundamentally different than the very traditional path the Game Boy takes. Naming the system after the Game Boy wouldn't have been proper in Nintendo's mind, it is a very innovative piece of hardware and deserved its own name. The second is if there was a small chance that the DS failed, it would not tarnish the Game Boy brand name. Nintendo has also effectively proved that it doesn't take a brand name to sell its system. However if Nintendo do release a new DS, it won't be called a nextgen DS, it'll be called a Game Boy and have all of the DS capabilities plus more. That's my theory anywayz. Lynk Former
At E3, 2004 and 2005 I remember distinctly that Nintendo made sure to say "This is not a new Game Boy, it is a third pillar." Perhaps they said something along the lines of "this is more than just a new Game Boy" or "this is beyond a Game Boy" but they never said "this is nextgen Game Boy." TSR
So I don't think you really meant it sucked did you hey, that's a jedi mind trick! ok, what i mean is, where i live dreamcast rates pretty low. well, extremely low. stupidly low? no-one i know (personally) who owns/owned one actually likes/liked it. Meh, just my opinion. anyway, for the guy who asked what is a psp, here's a bit of info. don't ask. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2737884010452485176&q=PSP&pl=true http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4458256357369576521&q=PSP&pl=true http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7994627732885033343&q=PSP&pl=true i espacially like cheese... Lynk Former
You'll be interested to know that it took the end of the Xbox's lifespan to catch up to the sales reached by the Dreamcast when it was "alive." You should also note that the Dreamcast wasn't around for very long either. I'd say the Dreamcast was more successful than both the Xbox and GameCube, for once Sega outgunned Nintendo... if they were allowed to keep on going with their hardware... As for the PSP ads...
