coupes.
Well, I made a thread like this last summer I beleive, but I think this is a good time for a second one. With the current heat wave striking hard in Europe and more recently in North America, we all have to find ways to cool down. So, in this thread, share how you guys like too cool down a bit. Do you crack open a beer, jump in the pool, ride your bike in a car wash ?

Curt-Man
same, tomorrow however I'm going for a swim. Pop/fudge/creamsicles are always nice too.
St. Jimmy
I still can't belive what you guys classify as a heat wave! But anyway, We have a pool in our backyard so that's handy. Most nights at about midnight we can get in and swim around 'cause it's still nice and warm. Failing that, Sit inside and watch a movie with the air conditioner blowing right at you. The bad thing is, It's winter over here (Australia) and I'm freezing my ass off and you're all saying how it's nice and hot. It's like torture! (It's only 16 degrees here)

Schoolkids were just plopping down on the grass, and people were tanning when it was like, 22 :-p, not that the irish can tan anyway.

narfblat
Cool Time, Pool Time.(HomeStarRunner.com) It's been hot lately, but not today. Today was a crazy thunderstorm with strong wind and insta-soak rain. My brother was working on an air conditioning unit on some store's roof when the storm hit. Not very fun. jebbers
central air and a cold shower after a hot, muggy day at work...speeking of which some of you know i almost died at my job (roofer) well the other day, today, and tomorrow it will/have topped 95 degrees out here in Buffalo! But i was working out on a ledge, squating down for about 5 minutes and when i stood up i whited out...i grabbed and clung to the closest wall for dear life so i wouldnt fall 5 stories to my death but i cant wait to start working with pitch again!/sarcasm
Tinny
Oh man, that is close, good to see you are alright . Its hot when you have to walk and take the train from one college campus to the next here, but its not too bad. In India its 10x worse

Datheus
Honestly, I don't cool myself down. I work in a kitchen with a 600 degree oven all day. It's often cooler outside than it is at my job.

manoman81
Yeah well, I dont have AC at home and Im on campus all day going to class. At least we have AC at work. Since the orignal question was semi serious, drink lots of water. Not that Gatorade crap either. Straight water.
Pho3nix
I just open my window, strip down to only boxers and drink Coke.
coupes.
Yeah, wearing no pants is very liberating, ans somewhat refreshing too. I usually use a fan or put on the AC to cool myself down, but a cool shower also does the trick.
RoxStar
I just open my window, strip down to only boxers and drink Coke. I do the same thing, with a gallon of water. I don't care what the neighbors think anymore. I was on the trampoline in my swimsuit, spraying myself this morning, at 7 am
toms
I think the heatwave may have passed in europe, or at least the uk. FOR NOW!! *dramatic music* I actually had to close my bedroom windows about an hour ago... i think they have been open day and night for the past 90 days nonstop. Getting a desk fan for my room was the only thing that got me through.
