toms
Lets see if i can type this before Lynk posts it: Star Wars: Lethal Alliance places players in the Star Wars universe after the events of Revenge of the Sith and before A New Hope. Hired by the Rebels to recover the plans for the Death Star, players will galavant across the universe as Rianna Saren and her security droid -- and you'll do all of this on the Nintendo DS and Sony's PSP. http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3152932 Looks nice on the PSP screenshots.. not sure how it'll look on the DS.. but then i'm not sure how it'll control on the PSP... PS/ Its amazing how many people it took to steal those plans..
El Sitherino
The name is so crappy. "Lethal Alliance" Sounds like some lame marketting slogan to get some dumbass 8-year-old to think he's the **** because he's got some lame ass product that only does two things, but "it's really shiny!". It also looks kind of boring, and the idea of another robot sidekick making wisecracks pisses me off to no end. [/copy-paste from ahto]
Jeff
Yeah at first I thought "awesome, a new star wars game" but as I look more into it, it might be something I want to pass on, not sure.

Darth Groovy
I'll get it due to lack of SW titles on the PSP. Hope it's cool.
Lynk Former
Lets see if i can type this before Lynk posts it: lol, I'm not excited about this at all, it won't be any good for the DS, it'll be better on the PSP.
toms
At first i thought it looked quite cool, because something about it's look reminded me of the original JK. Not sure what exactly. Its also nice to see them moving away from everything being Jedi Jedi Jedi. But without more details of how it will work I'm not sure exactly what sort of game its going to be, how it will look on the DS (which is much more likely to be the system i'd get it for) and most importantly, how the character(s) and the camera will be controlled. txa1265
What I understand is that there are different development teams for the DS & PSP so that each gets an optimized experience.
toms
I still want Jedi Knight on a DS.. Plus Dark Forces, Outlaws, any Scumm game.. heck, any lucasarts game made before they went sucky would rule on the DS.

Lynk Former
Right now I want a Star Wars game for Wii more than I want one for the DS... but at the moment LucasArts has no interest in either so *shrugs* It's upto companies like Ubisoft to do something about it but most Star Wars games will end up being on the 360 and PS3. •-BLaCKouT-•
*cough* bump *cough* Didn't Kyle Katarn get those plans? This is what's bothering me about the game. At first, Kyle was meant to have lifted the plans, given them to Mon Mothma and everyone was happy. Then; A Rebel mercenary, Kyle Katarn, stole the Death Star plans from an Imperial data vault on Danuta. He transmitted these plans to Rebel spies in the Toprawa system. These plans were combined with similar technical data secured by Keyan Farlander to construct a full schematic of the Death Star. It was through the efforts of these Rebel heroes, and others, that a weakness was found in the Emperor's most prized weapon It appears that Keyan Farlander also stole the plans, so they retconned the two together. Now they're going to throw Rianna Saren into the mix as well. Great And another thing that's bothering me. There's a story at TFN about the game, and while it doesn't say it's a press release, it seems to read like one; http://www.theforce.net/videogames/story/Star_Wars_Lethal_Alliance_100974.asp you’ll also experience never-before-seen locations on Despayre, Danuta, and Alderaan. Do you think this means that we'll see somewhere else on Danuta, or are they implying that Danuta's never been seen before? Unless they're going to throw in a cameo from Kyle Katarn (which would be nice), they might as well wee-wee all over the grave of Dark Forces Even so, I'm actually considering buing a PSP for this. I'll have to see some gameplay first, of course B.

txa1265
IGN has a first look , and also some images for the DS version: The game's in development at Ubisoft Morocco, the development team that worked on the Nintendo DS version of Peter Jackson's King Kong last year. In Star Wars: Deadly Alliance, players are thrust into an era between Star Wars Episode III and Episode IV, just before Princess Leia secured the plans for the Death Star. You're actually put into the role of Rianna Saren put to the task of securing those plans for the Princess and the Alliance. The game's all action, running on the Nintendo DS in full 3D. Players will run through many familiar areas of the Star Wars universe, including such locations as Mustafar and Tatooine, as well as new locations on Despayre, Danuta, and Alderaan. Duke it out with the all-star cast including Boba Fett and Darth Vader. The Nintendo DS version will have special touch-screen mini-games between the action, as well as a four player wireless multiplayer option. The current, official boxart indicates that the game might go online, though don't be surprised if it's a feature that gets the axe before the game's release. Lynk Former
Nonsense. At conference LucasArts told us how much they were looking forward to kicking out Star Wars related titles for the Wii. Patience my friend, patience. And you actually believed them? There are quite a few developers who say that but have no plans to release any game for Wii ever. The only companies who have any credibility on this level are the developers who are clearly doing something NOW.
