The part that should elict a few anickers. The actor playing Hiro actually acts as more of a "side job" - he's a computer animator who's worked on CGI effects for Episodes 2 & 3!

That is actually very interesting but not really surprising as he looks like the type who would be a computer geek (not saying that is bad of course as I am into computers very much so as well.:D).

Hey I have to ask a question though, does the guy who plays Hiro also play as the Future version of himself (the one who was on that one episode where he told Peter if he saved the cheerleader he would save the world)? It doesn't really look like the same person to me.

I was surprised there was no thread for this yet. I confess, I've watched every episode -- Heroes is the only series I watch. Thought Claire did a good job acting in the "Family Man" episode from Feb 26. And Sylar is a great villain. I almost wish there were more non-heroes becuase it seems like everyone has powers. And if they don't, well they will next episode. :xp:

they said that on a commercial break. he looks like he should be a computer animator and likes star wars.

  • 1 month later...

Just started watching this series, and it's quite good...It definitely has a comic book feel to it (Watchmen and Rising Stars in particular) and it reminds me a bit of The 4400, but I enjoy it nonetheless...Good characters, good storyline, and set in NY, my favourite city I have yet to see...

I like the show myself, but it is a far cry from the best new show on TV this season....Jericho! Heroes has really been getting interesting lately. It was hard for me to get into, even though I am a lifelong fan of comic books. Sylar is a great villain and its awesome that they have a hero (Peter Petrelli) with almost identical talents. Peter has to potential to be the "Superman" of the show for sure.

It was sure a great cliffhanger for them to have you wait over a month to see what happened when they met face-to-face at Saresh's apartment. I'm just sad about Issac....loved the fact they had an artist as a superhero!

Get your own thread :p

Latest Wired magazine has Masi Oka (Hiro) on the cover. Wired gave Tim Kring, the show's creator, a Rave Award for television. (link)

He used to write for Knight Rider back in the day. "Turbo Boost, KITT!"

Edit: "Five Years Gone" was easily the best episode yet. You got re-introduced to every character over again. :D

I have to say, it wasn't til a few weeks ago someone linked me to NBC.com and I watched every Heroes episode nonstop for 2 days. Since then, I've been following the new episodes closely. Hiro and Ando are the best comic relief.

As for the future episode, holy crap.
