Sabretooth
Read and be amazed! Okay, maybe it isn't what you were thinking, but it's very interesting nonetheless.
Char Ell
Hmmm... IMHO not a well-written article by /film. When and where did GL say he was going to make two more SW movies? I'm still somewhat skeptical about this supposed statement from GL. I had the same thought as Mr. Sciretta though when he asked the question, "At the one hour length, what will differentiate the upcoming hour-long live-action Star Wars television series from the films?" If the films even happen that is.
Boba Rhett
It was assumed by most that the interviewer misinterpreted what was said and that Lucas was actually referring to the two tv series coming up.
Windu Chi
Read and be amazed! Okay, maybe it isn't what you were thinking, but it's very interesting nonetheless. I extremely doubt this, Sabretooth but there is always a unknown possibility. But one hour long is too short, that sound like the time span for a tv series. Unless, he decided to make two live-action tv series. That would be cool !

xmovingpicturesx
link Well, there you have it. I didn't really get my hopes up. When you think about it in the '80s SW was huge. In the '90s not so much. The Prequel Trilogy brought it back into the mainstream just as it was disappearing. Star Wars will always be there, but for the fandom to continue as strong as it is now these movies have to happen. He promised us 7, 8, and 9 early in the cycle, way back when. We just aren't going to see them any time soon. Wait another 20 years. I really don't want to, maybe we can settle for 10? Jediphile
No Jar Jar on it plz!!!! I doubt GL will make more SW movies, but you never know....... I disagree. I want to see JarJar in there. I want to see Vader slice JarJar's arms and legs off and kick the rest of him into the fiery depths of Mustafar, where he screams as he burns to death... Go on and admit it - it's what we all want for JarJar JarJar: "This be madness!!" Vader: "Madness? This - Is - MUSTAFAR!!"
Lord Spitfire
I'd like that. Make it . . . KOTOR! I was jokin, a KotOR movie would be impossible. But i think that it should be on the New Republic and how they took control of Coruscant and rebuilt themselves, yadi yadi yada. However, it would be easier if Mark Hamill wasn't 50 years old when Luke is about twenty five at the time. . .
Astrotoy7
Oh sabre, tsk tsk....and to think I led such an unstable character in the EVforums Swamp War.... There was an awesome *VIDEO* interview with GL which I linkied to on THIS PAGE at the cantina The video was up at IESB.net but doesnt seem to be working atm... but the contents of the interview are covered in the above thread. Dont forget >> Lucas is doing... *Clone Wars 3 *Indy 4 *100 planned episodes of most likely the highest anticipated TV show of all time (Not to mention his other projects) is that not enough for people ?? !! bleh !!! Im glad this wasnt a "I HEARD FROM MY FRIEND/RONALD MCDONALD/ELVIS GHOST THAT GL IS DOING 7-9" This would have resulted in the calling of an "Emergency Council" of mods/admins/the LFN Janitor, following which the offending member would be spanked with a toy lightsaber, and exiled to TFN to get lost in the maze of threads that have been going for 8 years ... deplorable ! mtfbwya
