Char Ell Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 As of the time of this posting I can't pull up http://www.lucasarts.com, http://www.starwars.com, or http://www.lucasfilm.com. All three return the "server took too long to respond" error message in Firefox. Everything else on the Internet that I've tried getting to works fine. Anybody else having this problem with the official Lucas websites?

Same here, and a trace times out before reaching the server, so I'd guess that either their web server or a router close to it has crashed. I'll probably be back up again soon though.

Well, it's not that unusual, allot of sites go down and give me that message so they can preform maintenance to their sites, like Stoffe said, they'll most likely be back up soon.

Oh, i was gonna say i could reach them just fine before. Hmmm... must have been a little bit of downtime, maybe for website or server maintenence etc. Perhaps the websites are in line for an updated interface or something?

Just last night, every server on Halo multiplayer was messed up, and this morning, my Comcast digital cable wouldn't work right. Yep, the internet hates us now. The problems with LA's site the other day was just the tip of the iceberg. It's Y2K all over again.
