To keep this in perspective for you. Bongo...

XBOX 360 Premium... $350

iPod Touch... $400

One has sexiness, the other has Halo 3. Yeah, that's what I thought.

Lets put this in perspective for you. Tie...

Xbox 360 Premium...going to get

iPod Touch...never said I was going to get. Just said, "do want."

Don't be a douchebag. Yeah, that's what I thought.

Am I the only who gets annoyed listening to Ipods? Maybe it's just me, but the fact that there's usually outside noise going on while I'm listening disrupts the pleasure. That, and the fact that's it's only one act of carelessness away from losing more than three hundred dollars. I'd just rather listen to the music in my head.

And no, that last sentence wasn't an admission of insanity. :p

Alright, I been avoiding the subject, but it is just being rubbed in my face too much lately to avoid it.

Here is my situation.

First MP3 player I got was the Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra 30GB. That was due to much influence from the likes of many of you on here who recommended that to me. It has been a VERY good MP3 player over the years. Only gripe I had with it, is that at 30 GB, while I WAS able to put nearly every CD I owned on that machine, I barely EVER listed to everything I put on it. And last summer I finally had filled it up to capacity. My only gripe about it, was it used this sort of wheel dial thing on the side, and making play lists, and selecting music was kind of a pain in the ass. New problem I have, is using the old software on Windows Vista, now that I have a new computer. Right now, I am using the Creative Zen V 1GB. Yes I got a smaller one, but I rarely ever listen to more than 5 or 6 albums at any given time in my life, so I have had a good run with this one. Plus, it's the size of about two quarters, so it fits neatly in my pocket and weighs nothing. Only problem I am having now, is I leave for Vegas in two days, and it was kind of a Bitch trying to decide which music to put on it. I managed to restrict it to stuff I have purchased over the summer. My NEW problem is that the charger and USB cable is the same thing...only I no longer have a laptop, nor do I need one anymore, and I certainly don't want to bring a laptop with me to Vegas just to charge my freaking little MP3 player. So now I guess I need something a little bigger, with a regular AC adapter. I thought about ZUNE, but um... that is kind of a bugger unless all your mp3s were acquired um....yeah...not going to go there.

So what is the best MP3 player for me now? I would LIKE to stick with CREATIVE if I can, but I want something I can charge in a hotel room. You know?

I know the feeling man. There are adapters out there for both car and wall. Over the weekend, I'm building this little guy. Kit should arive today.

Hey that would be a pretty handy charger tk, might be something I'll look into. I have the old iPod mini and I think it was earlier this year I had to replace the battery because it wouldn't hold a charge at all but it still seems like it doesn't last as long as it should.

So did I until I saw
. Doesn't look so bad now that see how thin it is.

The user interface does look cool and I like how thin it is. I just dislike that It's so short and wide. The next iPod I'll be buying will probably be the iPod Touch.

Thanks for the link :)

so are they gonna replace all the nanos now with this new smaller one?

Probably: :3

also what are the pros and cons between the classic and nano? like which has better battery life and stuff?

I'd say the battery life is about the same for both, I can't think of any cons other than a smaller screen which might be harder to read.

The pros are simple, the Nano is smaller :p

According to the tech specs, it's inoperable above 113 degree. Means I can't get one, unless I'm willing to live with something that won't work if I'm outside in the summer.

I do like that it's based on flash memory. I don't like that it doesn't have a tuner.
