For present sitcoms I had to vote for Two and a Half Men.

Old School award goes to either Frasier or Fresh Prince with the early 70's Show stuff right behind it.

 

Scrubs just does ma nut in after a while, tries way too hard, same as Family Guy.

My name is Earl, Fresh Prince, Seinfeld, Two and a half men and Frasier are the only ones I watch.

It's got to be "The Office" followed closely by "Scrubs."

 

If it's 90s sitcoms we're talking about, Fresh Prince takes it. I've seen every episode at least thrice, but some of the jokes never get old.

House does not fit the criteria of “Situation Comedy” established by Darth_Calo. House is considered a drama, but it is funnier (IMO) than any of the current crop of “Situation Comedies" listed. House would definitely get my vote for best television series.

A show generally has to be funny to be considered a comedy.

 

Two and a Half Men has gotta be the funniest show on TV. The only thing better is Doctor Who - thought it's not so much a comedy as it is raw pwnage in television form.
