[WIP] A Temple

EDIT : Sorry to be so annoying Magnusll , but do you have an idea what lmomnilights and lmsurfacelights ( Dummys ) are for ?

Going by their names, they sound like Max lights (not Auroralights) used for lightmap generation. I.e. lmomnilight = light map omnilight.

It makes sense that they're dummies because Max lights do not get used into the game; but they are necessary if you want Max to create a lightmap. I'm guessing the original Bioware importer/exporter had a way of converting any type of Max object back and forth between Max and Kotor formats, so those you're seeing would be the lights originally used when generating the tomb's lightmap, imported into the game as dummy objects.

Okay dokay , thx Magnusll :)

A bit of an update fellows ; though I've been wasting time on another project , I'dd continue to add an extra enemy ! The Dark Jedi Witch .

For the moment she"s using those dirty commener clothes , from the Lowest outcasts of Taris , I thought it fitted well ...

Anyway in game shot and the head texture ... is something I'm semi content about . It might change drasticly .

That is one of the finest custom skins I think I've seen. I think it might look a little too busy in-game, though, but that's just my opinion. ;)

You hit the problem spot on , its a bit over the top when it gets mirrored .

I'll have to think up something else , to get right .

Quanon, don't do anything with the head.

It is perfect for a PC head mod.

Which i highly recomend you do, separate from this one as well.

It would tide the fans of this mod over untill this mod gets released.

The problem with that is, the skin may look brilliant as a texture file, but in game it will look very different, as it mirrors the image, ultimately changing it.

Also the skin is featured as an NPCs skin, not as a PCs skin ;)

I can see how it would look tacky with the Sith tattoo framing her face. :lol:

I used that SithProhecy Font you used on the sword :)

"Death by Terantanak" :lol:

Under the eye's it says : perish .

Anyway I should get working on this , have wasted enough time yesterday .

Wow a paranormal investigator :lol:

or maybe there is a real witch in our midst... :sithk:

Sort of ! :)

Due to 2DA and Hex editing madness , I'll have to show a 3D-Max Render of the new Body Skin for the Witch.

EDIT : GM came to the rescue !

Oh man Quanon, I've resisted the urge to make a comment every time you release a tantilising screen shot, but that new body looks fantastic! This entire mod looks so great, you're easily one of the most talented KOTOR modders!

Keep up the great work!

Thanks , but GloveMaster helped me out seriously to get this body working , I had only a white witch :|

Are there any effect when you kill the force ghosts?

No , though the Terantanak still has that big "puff" of green toxic smoke when he dies . I'm not sure if this just scripted or part of the die-ing animation .

If it is scripted , then ... uhh ... depends if GM would like to script that for the Ghosts .

Anyway I just love to torture people with screenies of full action melee combat !

The green puff is likely scripted. I don't have K1 installed at the moment but if you delete the OnDeath script from the UTC (though you're better off replacing it with the standard resource, I'm not sure what K1's is... TSL's is "k_def_death01" - they should be the same) then the creature should just die without that noxious cloud.

You can add all sorts of death effects if you want to. VFX_IMP_POLYMORPH is a nice effect to use; an example (it's been applied on the character on the far right - the evaporating one :xp: ).

Okay , guess I'll have to learn to script then *shivers*

Most will say it's not that difficult , well I've had my share logics and programming , fearfull memorys of Win32 and C++ , classes , structs , header files spring to my mind ...

I can't code to save my soul - I'm an arts student :xp: - but scripting is pretty simple to pick up if you just persevere and create thousands of useless scripts for mods that you thought were a good idea at the time but on retrospect were absolute trash. No I'm not projecting... >_>

If you need something specific then just post on Holowan :).

Me too , I'm in Graphical Design , DTP ! ( Desktop Publisher ) :p

Though last year I had the crazy idea to try Game-Design ... that payed of in learning 3D Max , obviously , Photoshop classes , drawing skills took another jump up .

The programming and Math , went beyond me after 5 weeks ... I'm just no logical thinker ... chaotic rather :lol:

Anyway , you're right , we have the great Stoffe here , Master ( Mistress ? ) of Scripting . Who scournes everyone even trying to do a stupid thing ! *evil laughter¨*

You should watch what you say...

Or you could find stoffe coming up with a script like this:

void main()

{

KillModder=(Quanon=TRUE)

}

:lol:

Scary thing is when stoffe sees that she'll most likely correct it into something that would work in-game! :p
