Rogue15
yeah i know what you mean about facebook. it's pretty lame! well for me anyway, cause the people i wanted to get back in touch with were from the christian school i went to (2nd grade-6th grade) and haven't seen most of them since i moved to florida. they all seem to have taken the religious snob (i'm too good for you) route in life. lol i'm getting tired of the same old same old. i want to get back out on my own. i'm ****ing sick of living with my parents. sick of everything i attempt bombing on me. hell, i probably couldn't kill myself if i tried. i'm sick of being **** on. edlib
Yikes! Try to cheer up, 15! Actually, I'm liking running into all these folks. I dunno if I'll ever see any of them in person... but so far none of the ones who have gotten back in touch with me strike me as religion-snobs... yet. I might try to put a Facebook group together to round us all back up in one place.
Zargon
i wish walmart would do that...1 hour unpaid lunch is lame. most jobs are like that the worse ones give you 30 minutes of unpaid lunchtime

K_Kinnison
R15, everyones lunches are usually unpaid. Where I work we only get 30 minutes of lunch, but we work for 8 hours... so I spend 8 1/2 hours of the time "at work" Had a bit of a scare today, the reach lift I use, broke. I was lifting a pallet of Butter solids to the to of racking that is 30 feet in the air. When the forks extended on thier own, and started bouncing back and forth on inertia alone like some crazed sex machine. I found this quite hilarious for some reason
edlib
Lady friend too tired to hang tonight... or at least that's what she said. Hmmm... Played GOW2 instead of going out.
Cmdr. Cracken
At Best Buy we get 45 minutes of unpaid lunch time. Except on Black Friday. Or as I call it, the Day of Days.
Rogue15
yeah but at least we can go home on lunches....i dunno it just seems annoying and unnecessary, when we already get 2 paid 15 minute breaks. ****ing cold..... playing oblivion...got caught in one of those gates, hard to figure out how to take them out once inside, without taking down every single enemy in them. I've got the title of Gladiator in the Arena. That was fun, but now they're throwing 3 opponents at once to me, that's annoying because it makes the framerate drop. no work tomorrow/saturday, so i'm going to bed. doubt i'll be going hunting tomorrow...planning on doing all my laundry. K_Kinnison
23 degree's here. The Lake outside my apartment is doing it's initial freeze where we now have about 100 feet of slush on the windward shore
Rogue15
tired of oblivion ****ing freezing on me. -_- tempting to download it to the harddrive.
edlib
Let me know how that works. I have the 360 Elite with the giant drive... and I wouldn't mind shelving a few of these disks if it works well. Jim Gaffigan last night. 2 shows. Nice money. Easy. Pretty funny, too... although hearing the same jokes twice in a row back-to-back like that gets a little old. Same show tonight, too. Gonna see if somebody else wants to sit at the board for me this time.
Rogue15
yeah well i heard it makes games load faster by storing it on the harddrive since it won't need to read a disc. i put double agent in earlier, was playing that. work was boring. same old stuff. i have tomorrow off, not sure what i'm going to do. K_Kinnison
X-play did a story about saving stuff to the HD, and they found you only save a few seconds on loading times. Most of the framerate issues has to do with rendering speeds and that is purely the processor and video card/drivers
Rogue15
ah, yeah i only have like 7 gigs left on my xbox, i decided not to download oblivion to it. got wizard rank in mage's guild. realised i have a ton of stuff yet to check out in the game...only thing i've mastered so far is blade. I really wanna master marksmanship. Taking a break fora bit, going back to splinter cell double agent. i ****ing missed 24: redemption tonight thanks to work. the damn dvr wouldn't work right, laaaaame. well, maybe i can catch it on the free on-demand, but i doubt it. -_- apparently i can buy it on the 25th, it's like a movie bridging the last season and the new season. edlib
Work was easy again. Not much more than that to report. Haven't heard back from the lady friend in a few days... but then she knew I was working all weekend. I'm going to try not to read more into it than that for the time being... Cmdr. Cracken
Intercooler. A device that straps on to the Xbox360 and pulls hot air away from inside the system.
Rogue15
nope don't got one. played splinter cell double agent most of the day. I got tired and decided to locate my copy of GRAW 2. Found it, and still...think it's one of the better war games out there. I want to check endwar out when i get a headset. it looks fun.
edlib
Yesterday at work: Easy. I appear to be getting the cold shoulder from the female friend. I think it may be over already... which very well may just be for the best. It was painfully obvious that the scheduling was never going to work out. A bummer... but better than trying desperately to keep it going, and then being left with heartbreak and a messy situation later. Time to get back out there and keep looking, I guess. edlib
Hmmm... actually, I'm not all that torn up about it. Maybe she really is that busy, and hasn't been able to get in touch... I'll give it a few more days before I declare it truly hopeless. However: I've left the ball in her court... if there's a next move to be made, it has to be hers. Besides: while I do like her (she's really cute and has a great personality...) between all her baggage with the ex, the kids, the completely opposite schedules, and some fairly substantial differences in lifestyle (she likes to drink and party, for one... and she's made it known that she typically goes for guys with tattoos and motorcycles... which REALLY isn't me!) it probably could never have lasted in the long run anyway. Better to end it quick and clean if it's probably certain it's not going to work out. Anyway... since I started going out again, it seems like all these people have suddenly appeared out of nowhere, trying to fix me up with "this great girl I know..." Huh. That's great. But there's only one thing I want to know: Just where the hell have all you people been for the last 10 years?!??
Zargon
nope don't got one.
