[W.I.P] K1 USM

I've seen a number of request threads for a K1 version of USM.

 

In almost every one of those threads a referal to WotOR has been made and the thread lost to the void.

 

I've been considering this for a while and have now finally decided to put this plan into motion.

 

A mod like USM but for K1.

 

It will include Sabers for the Jedi Party Members, (just like the TSL one) as well as Sabers for the other Dark Jedi and Jedi throughout the game.

 

 

This does not however mean that my Korak mod is cancelled, it's just on hold for a while because there wasn't much interest in it.

 

If there are any other modders out there who can model hilts and/or skin them help would be very welcome as this is rather a large mod.

First saber complete:

This is Darth Revans' saber.

 

Here is the description:

 

This is the lightsaber wielded by Revan during his reign as Dark Lord.

Created by the Star Forge, this weapon is a true Dark Relic and anyone

wielding it will surely feel the power of its' corruption.

Hey, DDD. I'm going to work on something similar to Oldflash's fork sabers, he gave me permission, and if you'd like, that can be someone's saber. Just a saber with two blades pointing forwards, that is all. Also something I think would be cool for a darkside saber, a saber with the blade coming out of a skull, with a handle of course, just the skull on the thend.

Maybe it could be the Sith Govenor on Taris' saber?

 

I've never made a skull before...

 

I'll try that out!

 

Well, if it was the Taris Govenor's, you'd have to edit the dialog. He says that if he kills you, he might get his saber. It could be say, a Genoharadan Saber, maybe. I'll get to work on it soon. BTW, how do you make sabers that can use all colors, or do you not have to do anything? (This will be my first saber.)

I'll edit the Governors dlg. It's only a slight alteration so it wouldn't be hard.

 

And if you want the saber to use all colours you have to make seperate models (each pointing to a different colour texture) and use crystals in upcrystals.2da.

Aha! I'll test it out. But that would be 6 different models, Oh well.

None of the ones I have done are different colours yet.

I'll be doing that at the end.

 

If you do it now, could you send me the upcrystals.2da you use aswell?

 

You dont have to make 6 models, just make copies and Hex Edit/use MDLOps to make them point at different textures.

I haven't actually started yet, but I'll send the .2DA when I do. But every time I try to use the MDLOps replacer or renamer, it just screws it up, so I've got a hex editor, but I haven't tried it yet.

 

Save your 0.6 Mdlops for the animations SS.

 

But you'll need 0.5 to get sabers correctly in the game :)

 

I've got them both now and they don't seem to interfeer with each other.

UPDATE:

 

I've decided to use my old Jedi Revan hilt from a mod I made a while ago for the Jedi Revan saber and I have just finished the Jedi Malak hilt.
