@Trigger: Thanks for your answer, however, I have only a question: Where do I find in the K tool tgas for these effects, e.g., to the power storm? Or is there none tgas separate they are to be found only in Spells 2da?

 

the texture for the lightning tier of powers is called Fx_Lightning. I don't know the textures for the other powers off hand. The row in the spells.2da file might (not sure) might tell you what file the power uses for the texture. AFAIK, there aren't a lot of textured effects for the force powers. Drain, Lightning, and the screen effect for Fury are the only ones I can think off right now that use textures.

@Trigger: Thanks. Indeed, I have found only two, however, the result with the power storm looks extremely amusing, indeed, not virtually of yours, however, it suffices for me. Thanks very much.

Thanks, but most of them are still modeled by Parametric. I do a little model editing, but thats about it.

 

Anyways, for an update. I've had my lightning texture fixed for a couple days now, but laziness and other stuff kept me from testing it in game. Randomly, I went in game to test, and like before, I liked the results. I didn't get any Storm/Shock shots, but I got a shot of Lightning. Or rather, 2 shots.

My next skin would probably be fixing that damned conjure thing that went well with the low-res lightning, but not very well with my hi-resolution lightning. My plan is either to fix that or just remove it entirely.

 

After that, it'll be release time, and I'll finish up on the Atris robe mod.

It sure has been a while, again. I took a little hiatus from modding, only to come back a little stronger. My first business after my hiatus was to finish my Atris project. I had a slight setback with the mod after I lost all the textures. (except for the original, overly bright-gold Historian robes) So some of the robes ended up going through a design change, most specifically the Sith Class robes. (Sith Warrior, Sith Sentinel, Sith Necromancer, and Sith Inquisitor) I don't have the Sith Alchemist and Jedi Healer robes re-made, as I don't have a UV Map layout of the torso, (which I hope to get soon with my reinstallation of 3ds, or if Canderis can figure out how to get a screenshot of it) which I used to get the right effects on the robes.

 

I finished doing the base utis (so i can see them in game with their basic descriptions), the next step would be to do the icons, as I'm sure most of you don't want to deal with identical white block for your inventory.

I didn't try to do them in a specific order, and I didn't get a screenshot of all the robes (I didn't get a pic of my version of the Jocasta, Sith Necromancer, Sith Alchemist and Jedi Healer robes)

 

After I finish this mod is released, I'll try to finalize the Anakin head skin (still struggling with the hair) and the rest of the Anakin mod, and try to do a simultaneous release of Anakin and my Desert Eagle mod.

Wow its been a while guys. I'm hoping to get back into the modding 'groove' for real soon. My first model that'll be released soon, alongside the Desert Eagle seen earlier in the thread, will be this, which will only be used in case of headcrab infestation. Yes, that's right.

Will this be a saber or a normal melee weapon?

 

I cannot believe I would ever say this, but this weapon honestly needs to be insta-kill. :D

 

It'll be a normal melee weapon, but I'll release an instant kill version with it for those people who like to kill headcrabs Sith in one hit.

Hrmm...that looks to be a pretty smooth curve you got there TG. How many polys? Care to show a wire?

Yes, I did a little poly wastage, but a couple of extra triangles won't hurt the game, especially not from a wee model thats just pushing 450
