Well, it's almost here, so I just wanted to say to all my Stateside Swampies:

Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope you're all having a nice week and that you'll be able to see your families :D

And to the foreigners...

Yay, Thanksgiving :D

Why is no one giving thanks? :carms:

I give thanks for my loving family and friends.

And the internet. And video games. And Wikipedia. And Pixar. And my country. And delicious food.

And you guys. (awww)

I usually fast on Thanksgiving so I'll be nice and hungry for the feast (usually at my aunt and uncle's house).

I'm thankful for friends whom I can sit up with until 4 o'clock in the morning talking with. Friends who I know will never judge or turn against me.

And I'm thankful for the opportunity to go to a fantastic school and live in such a great neighborhood and community. And I'm thankful for God's Grace.

Speaking of Grace. I'm also thankful for Jeff Buckley.

My brother told me I had missed something they had on the parade earlier, so I used our DVR to rewind.

What I saw, was a Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends float of the fosters mansion and almost all of the characters.

But wait, there's more.

They starting to sing this kid's song, and about 30 seconds in, the music abruptly changed.

And Rick Astley came out and sang Never Gonna Give You Up and Cheese popped out and said "I like Rick Rolling!"

o_o

What just happened!?

yayyyy happy anniversary of the beginning of the subjugation of indigenous people. Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy doesn't it? Just think fellow Americans, if the pilgrims hadn't run out of beer, none of us would be here. So with that in mind, I'm thankful for alcoholic, bigoted colonial founders. :p
