mimartin
Billy Joel You shame me Rhett. I can't believe I forgot to include Billy Joel's Glass Houses on my list of favorite Albums. For that matter, I did not include "All For Leyna" on my favorite tracks.
CommanderQ
I would say: Frank Sinatra's "I've got you under my Skin," favorite song The Beatles {a very good amount of their songs} Led Zepplin's "Immigrant" {Awesome song} All of John William's compositions and soundtracks {Jaws, Star Wars, Saving Private Ryan, etc.} Jimmy Hendrix {Pretty much all of his songs sounded awesome} Definately more, but my brain isn't delvng further into the subject right now:D

Salzella
- music was life for a lot of teens - not much has changed there - music is life for me now, in the 'noughties' (*shudder*) truth be told i don't really listen to much stuff earlier than the nineties. notable ones i can think of are the later Talk Talk albums, Led Zeppelin, some Queen, Pink Floyd... all the obvious ones in other words, other than possibly Talk Talk. Yar-El
I'm unclear on this - can we include bands from the 90s? *scratches head* How did that happen? I missread the thread. The Greatful Dead Led Zeppelin
Rabish Bini
I'm sure a few would argue Jimmy Hendrix FACT: Clapton was well known before people knew who Hendrix was. I used to like music by the guy who was prince of darkness since 1979! Ozzy Osbourne! You mean to say you don't anymore? While I love Ozzy, Dio > Ozzy, Dio was the best thing to happen to Sabbath, Die Young is the best Sabbath song ever. Anyways, a person any guitar loving maniac will love: Buckethead. One of the best guitarists to ever live, with a whopping 24 solo albums, over a hundred in total.
mimartin
FACT: Clapton was well known before people knew who Hendrix was. So? Most of us knew who George Clooney was before Christian Bale, but which one was the better Batman? FWIW: I'm not saying Clapton is better than Hendrix (or Hendrix is better than Clapton), I'm saying Robert Johnson is better than either. Clapton would also agree with me. Queen Another I forgot. Queen - The Game would make my list of favorite albums.
Rabish Bini
So? Most of us knew who George Clooney was before Christian Bale, but which one was the better Batman? I just thought I'd put in a bit of pointless trivia FWIW: I'm not saying Clapton is better than Hendrix (or Hendrix is better than Clapton), I'm saying Robert Johnson is better than either. Clapton would also agree with me. Yeah, he probably would agree with you, seeing as Clapton was influenced by him and all, but Buckethead and Tony Iommi still beat them both
Jeff
For guitarists, Clapton is my #1 followed by Carlos Santana. Never really got into Hendrix's stuff.

DarthAve
Coldplay and Spice Girls are 90s, hon. Hey, how about They Might Be Giants. I'll take THAT! Althought my interest in them has wained over the years, they still hold a considerable amount of space on my iPod. PLUS, James K. Polk was played in my APUSH class.
