edlib
hahahaah small victories Crack, small victories Is it sad that the thought of this thread breaking some arbitrary landmark is the thing I now look most forward to in life? I would have to say "Yes"... but opinions may vary on the matter.

Rogue15
what exactly is cowardice? Is it simply acquiring something while risking little to nothing in exchange? heh some chick friend-requested me on myspace, i think it's another bot. i sent her a message and got a message back not long afterwards...and well needless to say I always get suspicious when they have something about email in their messages. just watched boy in the striped pajamas. good movie... i'm going to get fitted for a suit tomorrow for my sis' wedding. yay....2 more weeks til that happens. gonna be fun. maybe. planning on getting alot of running in next week. been 2 weeks since i last ran. time is going too fast!!!!!!!!!! Yeah... probably. May not be though... I can attest to that. Try to get a phone number. I don't think I'd ever pursue another Myspace connection... but only because the last time left a funky taste in my mouth. If it turns out to be for real, it might be worth a shot for you. Personally: I'm taking a break from the search. Maybe not "throwing in the towel" completely... but I'm not going to be actively looking until I get some stuff in my own life back in order again. Zargon
what exactly is cowardice? Is it simply acquiring something while risking little to nothing in exchange? I guess that could be one definition. you may want to make it: acquiring something by dishonerable means to avoid the risk of honorably acquiring it
K_Kinnison
last few days I have been conversing with my Girlfriend via E-mail. The basics are we are slowing things down a bit. While last friday was nice, we think it was too soon, and for the wrong reasons. We just need to get out of this honeymoon phase where we are more intersted in trying to breed, then have a strong lasting relationship to eventually .. maybe... raise a family in. 3 day weekend!. Likely going to do some Bicycling and relaxing. Becasue next weekend I might have to work saturday or sunday
Rogue15
lol idk about the myspace thing, i sent a message asking if she had a job, it appears she read it, but no reply. so whatever. her profile thing is pretty lame too (short "about me" summary, no music) and she's got like 170+ friends, mostly guys. this is the email: Boo! I'm sorry if the friend request seems random.. but you seem like my type and we are near each other! Any way, a little about me: The name is Ashley, I'm quirky, funny, and always down to have a good time.. Check out my profile and if you think I'm your type Id love to meet up some time for coffee. Anyway.. I tried to attach more pics of me but its not working If you send me your email address I can just send them to you. I'm going to send out another message to her, not going to give her my email though. lol@k_k smart thing to do. got my suit together, also bought a pimp hat to go with it (more-so to piss off my sister cause i know she'll say not to wear it but i'll wear it anyway mwahaha)

Yeah... that sounds fake... but ya never know. My first couple of messages back and forth were actually similar to that... and SHE had trouble uploading pics all the time too. (I noticed a couple of weeks ago she de-friended me from Myspace, actually. We're still connected on Facebook though. I haven't deleted her numbers from my phone yet either... but I suspect that will happen shortly.) K: Probably for the best to put the brakes on a bit... at least if you want it to be a lasting long-term thing. But then: You are both grown-ups... and there are no laws against having a good "grown-up" fun time. So: use your best judgment.

edlib
Indeed. Now that I'm in full allergy misery mode, the time off won't be much more fun than being at work. Still... I'll try to do something a bit out-of-the-ordinary with these days off... even though nobody that I would normally hang around with is free or even in town this weekend. K_Kinnison
half the reason I don't use Myspace is the rampet spam and bots. Honestly you think they would have better anti-spam protection with so many people using it. Talked with my girl this morning. We are all okay. Tho as often with phone conversations we dodge the serious issues for more trivial things. she told me when I visit later this month I am going to help her with her work out. one nice this is she is determined to lose weight so she can do 5 full-no cheating pull ups. Kuuki
ok, just finally got my brakes fixed. *sigh* that took long enough. the rotor was bad so i needed to replace it, and well... the old one didnt want to come off, hurt my shoulder just beating on the darn thing for an entire afternoon. i let it sit over night and then it finally wanted to play. Rogue15
work is boring. i ruined somebody's film...thought the processor was fixed on my lunch break, well it wasn't fixed and nobody was around to ask if it was or not anyway. damn it. also, i had my xbox 360 RROD on me this morning! i fixed it somehow, think it was the outlet on the surge protector cause all i did was switch outlets and it loaded up and didn't freeze, and my parents are currently watching a movie off netflix on it. myspace girl idk about, she went from 170 friends to 230 friends in 2 days. that is just ridiculous. no reply back yet. situps hurt...i did a bunch this morning, made my lower abs hurt pretty bad and they'll probably feel it worse tomorrow. using the couch as a foot-holder, something i did not have in my apartment. i feel the allergy thing too...nose starting to get stuffy and all that nonsense. edlib
I checked out her page by going through your page, and my gut feeling says "not legit..." Sorry dude. I had a couple of random chicks like that add me a couple of months ago, and their pages looked just like that one. I deleted them both. Just don't give a real email addy whatever you decide. Spent all day with M. again. That was a surprise. She called me this morning looking to give me something back I lent her last week... turned into an all day hang. I did quite a bit of chauffeuring her around in the afternoon, and a gave a hand with a few little odd jobs around her place this evening. Had dinner together at a Pho restaurant,.. and later had snacks (ice cream, fruit, crackers, sparkling water...) at her place. I'm still not reading anything at all romantic into it anymore... just going on the "just friends" trip... but it was a far more relaxed day than a few I've spent with her, and it feels like the chill that came between us a few weeks ago seems to be breaking. It was the one thing that succeeded in lifting me out of my dark mood: Hanging all day with a gorgeous babe. And it was either that... or spend the day suffering allergies and feeling pity for myself in my isolation. I think I made the correct choice... I hope. edlib
Hmmm... It's probably reached critical mass. Too many people on it now... I may have overdid it a little today. Drove down to the South, and walked the Cape Cod Canal from end-to-end. (7+ miles each way.) Took me under 4 hours to do the 14 (or so) mile round trip... and that includes a couple of water and bathroom breaks. It was a nice hike... but now my body is rebelling against me a bit. Early to bed, I think. Relax some of the achys... Helping M. pick up a couch in the morning. Nice one. Brand new. Totally free. Sweet deal. If she hadn't wanted it, I was going to take it myself for the cellar...
Keyan Farlander
I started using Facebook recently when one of my classmates from high school whom I still kept in touch with a little, said our class reunion stuff was getting organized on there. Man, ten years... Anyway, I friended her at first, and lots of our other old classmates found me and friended me. We didn't like...talk or anything, they just friended me. So...yay, I guess? Also, I'm amazed at how many of the people in my class are now gay.

edlib
Spent all day with M. again. Hmmm... Sooo.... Now that I've decided that there's never going to ever be anything romantic between us, we are spending more time together than most couples. Of course... makes perfect sense... well, in my universe anyway. I'm actually thinking about saying something to that effect... or maybe just point out that I've now well passed the point where I've spent more time alone with her than any girl I've ever dated. We'll see... if she keeps trying to find ways to spend more time with me (and not the other way around, which is what happened today...) I may actually allow myself to start reading something into it.
