[wip] PFHC06 Reskin

I just need some input on this mod.

 

I've been working on this for awhile (perfection is key)

 

However, whatever I do, the eyebrows never seem to turn out quite right, what do you all think?

Are they too white? Not enough texture? Am I just crazy?

I think it looks great, but if you are looking for true perfection, im gonna ´have to go with the "they are too white"- option. And actually adding a little more texturizing wouldnt hurt either.

I agree. I looks pretty darn cool. But like Drunkside suggested...a little less white and particularly some more texture would make it better. Not too much texturing just a little bit, but since you seem like a perfectionist =P you probably already knew that...

 

Perhaps try using a picture of real hair? Or maybe even the texture's own hair with a decreased opacity could look well. I dunno. Fool around some more if you want, but it looks very good to me.

Just a slight tint of skin colour to the eyebrows would look more realistic (the way eyebrows are just a thin bit of hair over skin, that way they don't look painted on). You could add a slight texture to them, just a couple of very thin, grey texture lines but the off-white tint itself (and a very, very slight one) should be skin colour.

The tga shows that the brows are textured, and yet, this is the result.

 

But I shall take your advice to heart, and continue working.

You all should download this mod.... whenever it's finished, that is.

I like this reskin, but i think it's a bit too white, it just looks a bit...colored, not realistic...

Anyway, nice skin.

I always thought that head looked a bit like a younger Atris-type option - this makes it even more similar! Not necessarily saying it's a bad thing, mind - just an observation.

 

Might look good in-game with the Handmaiden's robe or Atris' robe. It's a retexture I would possibly use next time I fancy a canon playthrough.

 

And good luck with the eyebrow fixing - that would make it even better.

It has been awhile since I updated this thread, mostly because I've been waiting for screenshots from either of two people. But anyways, I fixed the eyebrows a long while ago. Rather than adding texture to them (I kept adding, didn't seem to do much) I just took Atris' eyebrows and modified them a bit as to look less angry. Anyways, this is the last WIP picture before I actually release the mod.

 

 

Looking at the old pictures, I think the new eyebrows are a lovely improvement.

This looks great! If your going for an Echani look, I would suggest adding a slight silver tone to the face. Nothing really noticeable, just a slight sparkle. I eagerly anticipate the release of this mod.

This particular skin isn't Echani, but with a quick change of blue eyes to silver, it could very well be. Besides, I referenced the skin to the Handmaiden who's half echani .. but I will take the silvery skin tone into consideration for the actual echani skins.
