El Sitherino
Because it's Paranoid Britain and all are invited, unless you have a hood, look a bit common, or sound a bit foreign. That's weird, they decided hoods should be at the top of the list of things to ban? Sorry I realize this is off-topic, but I'm confused why hoods are banned. You guys practically brought them into the mainstream.

Pavlos
That's weird, they decided hoods should be at the top of the list of things to ban? Sorry I realize this is off-topic, but I'm confused why hoods are banned. You guys practically brought them into the mainstream. Because hoods are said to obscure the view of security cameras. The party likes to know where people are coming from and going to, you see. Edit More seriously: hoods are associated with the "hoodies" in the mind of the lower middle classes, the thugs of "broken Britain", so supermarkets assume that anyone in a hoodie is a thief; therefore, as an insurance policy, they tell people to take them off so that the security cameras have a good shot of their mugs in case they do steal something. The true face of "broken Britain" is the paranoid society and the class war that everyone pretends died in the eighties, not the thugs, who have been ever-present and ever-thuggish. Darth Avlectus
What is this, a religious place or department of homeland security for Whales? Jedi religion in the real world - Ugh! Yeah, actually the anthropology club at my community college (begging me for a revisit to talk about the historical timeline of SW) has invited me on as a guest online to their classes. Apparently they are partnered up with many campuses worldwide in some intellectual/scholastic network forum...they *actually* sponsor material and pages with "Jedi Religion" and such, and seem to have the lowdown on classes of sci-fi for all over the US at least. That's right, basically college elective credit for SW. Please don't put a hole through your wall.
