Jae Onasi
Hope all Americans are enjoying the day, and I hope we remember those who aren't American who gave their lives serving in wars with us. Thank you to all who are serving in the military, and have served. Today, I remember my Great Uncle Ken Cady, who died in World War II. I never had the chance to meet him, but I wish I had. I also give thanks for my hubby, who is an Army reservist on active duty. Thanks, honey!

JediAthos
"from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion—that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain" -Abraham Lincoln at Gettysburg, PA 1863. To my fellow veterans, those still on active duty, to all who came before and especially those who made the ultimate sacrifice: Thank You!
Astor
Yes. Even though I am not an American, thank you to everyone of any nationality who are serving overseas (wherever that may be) and especially to those who have paid the highest price to protect their country. Darth Avlectus
Thank you to my family that had served in the Navy, my friends who served in the Army, Marines, and Air Force. Deepest thanks to those who've paid the ultimate price, American or otherwise. Thanks to our allies who have offered aid in the past. Happy memorial day to everyone. Totenkopf
Thanks to all those military vets who've served, esp those that paid the ultimate price. It's often a thankless job, but you're still remembered. God bless you all, even the atheists in the foxholes.

JediMaster12
Memorial Day had the civvie perks like an extra to finish an assignment for class but it was also a nice day of remembering those who fought for their nation and the principles they stand for particularly the right of freedom. That day had me thankful that there are men and women who are serving and have served like my cousin who served in the Marine Corps in Iraq and his father in Vietnam. Also to all vets thank you.
