first off, I think that the fur texture on the neck, nose and cheek are excellent. The direction of the fur looks so believable in relation to the contours of the face in these areas. That said, I can see some blending issues, where the fur in those areas kinda stops with an edge. Plus the neck fur should be continued a little more down the front.

The stripes on the back look a little strange. It's kinda like they're a separate thing that has been laid over top of her fur. You can go with it, like it's jewelry or a headpiece. But, if you'd prefer that the stripes are part of her fur, then I think they should also have similar texture to the rest of her fur. From my research into cat stripes, I know that the stripe is made up of whole hairs of one colour. Here's are good closeups of a tiger's stripes:

You could also try something like this Photoshop pattern:

I know from experience how hard it can be blending in some fur along her forehead because of the seam in the uvw map. It would make a huge difference though, if she didn't have that smooth spot on her forehead, while the rest has such fantastic fur detail.

I hope you keep up with this, because it'll look so awesome when it's done :D

Some of the creatures such as the Rancor in the Undercity sewers and the Jabba the Hutt Aliens Zax/Ajuur come out too shiny like they are covered in petroleum jelly. How do I fix this? They look unnatural.

They arent touched by this mod. Might be something with the appearance file maybe, i'll have to check later.. this is a very early alpha so it's far from perfect.

redrob41: thanks for the comment / suggestions :) I agree, though you shouldnt really pay much attention to the .dds, on the model itself it's very hard to even make out much detail since the texture is extremely tiny, it wouldnt really be possible to make out the details on the even tinier stripes.

It looks fantastic, absolutely.

Unfortunately i maybe have encountered a bug:

I tried using your force lightning textures in TSL:

when i moved the fx_conjure.tga into my Kotor 2 override folder, every time i cast lightning there were edges around the swirl of the hand.

Since its simply a tga it should work for both games?
