Udvarnoky Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 WHELP Three options: a Standard and a Premium for the NES version, and a Collector’s Edition for PC. 1 1
Lagomorph01 Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 What?! Where are the seven different editions, one for each kid, with exclusive goodies per package, buy 'm all if you want your collection complete? 1 2
Udvarnoky Posted February 8, 2023 Author Posted February 8, 2023 It's a shame that, as with Loom, they didn't think to throw in a reproduction of the Hint Book with the PC version, even though Hit the Road is getting one. Guess there are just brighter, more handsome minds behind the latter package. Also, it would be a total power move if the uncensored ROM is what wound up on that NES cartridge. 1
Sopabuena Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 This is pretty cool. It's cool too see where all the re-working @Laserschwert is doing is going. Perhaps Zak and Indy FoA are next 2
micpp Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 One thing I did notice is that this box doesn't have the "A comedy/thriller by Ron Gilbert and Gary Winnick" blurb under the title - which seems a bit of a shame 1
Udvarnoky Posted February 10, 2023 Author Posted February 10, 2023 More scandalously still, the NES box isn't directing me to check out the TV show now broadcasting on The Family Channel. 1

MichaelSon Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 I bet they will release Zak next. And keep Indy 3 and Indy 4 releasing around Indy 5 release in the cinema. To use the momentum for larger sales. Regarding these Re-Releases: As much as I like them, they are just not the same as the originals. There is nothing comparable to keep the the original piece in your game collection. 1

Those photos are not final.
