That is beautiful. Impossible to imagine a better banana pan.

 

I have hunted through a whole bunch of games I thought might have one but it’s always not really as I remembered. Usually just multiple different angles.

Technically, a pan is a horizontal movement. Shouldn’t this be a banana tilt?

Absolutely, but it seems that the animation industry uses 'banana pan' for both (or other, non-banana -related terms!) and never 'banana tilt'.

I originally used 'pivot' rather than 'tilt' in an attempt to keep things unambiguous, but those animator dopes went and scuppered me!

If you start in the center and move the camera towards both ends at the same time, it's a banana split 🤷‍♂️

Well, it doesn't match my criteria as it's horizontal rather than vertical, but I'd say this isn't even a banana shot - to my eye, it only has the single perspective, a little exaggerated as it may be. If you scrolled across this, it would feel like a dolly rather than a pan.
