Eldritch Posted October 31, 2002 Posted October 31, 2002 You can't really make a fair comparison between the two games and as such, you can't really say which is (or will be) better. KOTOR is, as I understand it, a action/adventure type game. Galaxies is a MMORPG. As for those that are complaining about having to pay a monthly fee for it... while I agree I'd rather NOT pay a fee (or pay one that's less), for all the work they have to do to keep hundreds of thousands (or millions, eventually) of players playing online and keep all their stats, items, property, etc. PLUS pay the techs to keep the servers running fast and smoothly, upgrade parts when necessary... they really only break even on $10 a month. The real profit is made when people buy the game for $50 or $60. Bottom line is this - if you like MMORPGs, you'll pay to play them because it's necessary for their upkeep. But you can't compare it with a game that you pay for once (and play the rest of the time by yourself)... they're like opposites of each other.
Darth Talliusc Posted October 31, 2002 Posted October 31, 2002 bah, neither will be able to come close to Bounty hunter sorry but im incredibly pysched about tht game and puzzled that it wasnt included in your poll. perhaps because you're doing pc only games? oh well, i hate pay by the month but if its low enough ill do it (ie under 25 cents).
