Nirvana Compilation CD

Nirvana has just released their newest album, and their final album. it is a greatest hits CD, but it also feautures You Know You're Right, a song recorded by Kurt Cobain and the rest of Nirvana within two months of his death. It has not been released until now because of a feud between Courtney Love (Kurt's wife) and the other members of Nirvana (one of which is David Grohl, the lead singer of Foo Fighters). the song is amazing. ive seen the music video on MuchMusic and MTV2. however, i dont kno why they were feuding. does anyone know?

ya but if you own all the other cds you can make your own compilation album (-)the new song...and have way more than 14 songs... but i guess it is always cool to get the original album. Just kinda bummed cuz I thought it would have a lot more songs than that or at least be a double disc set. What happened to the days when cd's had more than 11 songs on them???

Not me. Cobain was really messed up on drugs and depressed. That's a bad combination.

And to answer an earlier question, they [Love and the former members of Nirvana] were feuding over money and who has the rights to the song. What else would they fight over?

:EDIT: Hey STTCT, those days are gone. This album has 14, not 11. And it's a greatest hits album, not a "definitive works" compilation set or something. 14 tracks is about right for a greatest hits album.

Well, even though I have a cd-burner, the damn thing has never worked, never will...

And second of all, I practically grew up with nirvana. It reminds me so much of my vacations spent with my cousin in England when I was but a mere 6 years old..... The man who sold the world... yey!

There are 15 tracks actually.....

15: Where Did You Sleep Last Night

As for a double CD for Nirvana, they barely released enough songs to justify a double CD for a Best Of....

Of course, one could argue that all their songs are "best of nirvana" :p

Oh great..

Record label guy 1: "Hmm so how are we gonna milk more money out of these guys. I mean, everybody and their grandmother have heard about everything there is to hear from them"

*Mumbling, quarelling, more mumbling*

Record label guy 2: "I GOT it! Let's include ONE unreleased track as bait for the zealots! It never fails."

*Cheers, applauds, all record execs make room in their wallets*

If Curt Cobain saw this he would have had a seizure. :/
