Anything by VAST and everything on Linkin' Park's Hybrid Theory CD.

I also like "Moiraine's Song" and "Voyage with the Seafolk" on the Wheel of Time soundtrack... the "Duel of the Fates" and "Confrontation with Count Dooku and Finale" (Imperial March and the love theme). I also like "Ohio" and "Guinnevere" by Crosby, Steels, Nash & Young, "White Room" by Cream and "White Rabbit" by Jefferson Airplane... yes, I like acid rock ;)

If it's the song I think it is (beginning 'I see trees of green, red roses too...', then the word you are looking for is Sachmo...a.k.a....the great Louis Armstrong. ;)

Okay, I'll throw a few tunes into the mix...

Rock and Metal

Heaven and Hell, Holy Diver etc.,...by Ronny James Dio (I like most of his stuff)

Wielleicht das Nachster Zeit, Weis Heim, Stargazer and lots of others by Rainbow

Black Night, Burn, Child In Time...by Deep Purple

The Four Horsemen...by Aphrodite's Child (just been listening to the 666 album again, heh. ;) )

Live Cream (the whole album)...by...Cream

Lovehunter, and a bunch of others from...Whitesnake

Whole Lot o' Woman...by AC/DC

Holiday, Still Loving You...by The Scorpions

Hellbound...by Warlock

Remember My Name...Stevie Langer

Bohemian Rhapsody...by Queen (damn, I can remember most of the words...)

Evil...by...Evil (Heh...you gotta love a track with lyrics like 'I'll smash your head again' )

Free Bird...damn, forgot the group...

[/i]Bad Moon Rising[/i]...by Credence Clearwater Revival

Breaking The law, Ripper, Turbo Lover...by The Priest

Master Of The Universe...Hawkwind

In The Hall Of The Crimson King...by King Crimson

As you might be able to tell (well, those in the UK, anyway), I grew up listening to the Friday Rock Show on Radio One, presented by Tommy Vance - the best radio show, IMO.

Blues etc.

This Is The Moody Blues (the whole album, which I consider to be their best)...by The Moody Blues

Tobacco Road...by Eddie Winter

Bad To The Bone...George Thoroughgood and the Destroyers

Anything by Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, B.B. King, Robert Johnson, Little Walter, Stevie Ray Vaughn...

The Dark Side Of The Moon (the whole album)...by Pink Floyd (I like a lot of their albums, including Wish You were Here, Animals, The Wall...)

Ramble On, Battle of Evermore, Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin

The End, People Are Strange...by The Doors

Country

Annie's Song, Sunshine on My Shoulder, Back Home Again and a ton of other stuff by...John Denver (R.I.P.)

Classical

i]Peer Gynt[/i] by Edvard Grieg

The Planets...by Holst

A ton of other classical stuff too long to list...

50's, 60's, 70's

A whole bunch of different artists, both male and female, including...Connie Francis, Dusty Springfield, Lulu, Tom Jones, Harry Secombe, Shirley Bassey (she of the big voice), Nana Mouskouri, Mario Lanza (he of the equally big voice), etc., etc., etc.

...and groups, including...The Mamas and Papas, The Seekers, The Carpenters, The Monkees (heh), The Yardbirds, The Hollies, The Animals, ABBA (yeah, you read it right)...

Soundtracks

Aliens

Blade Runner

The Good, The Bad and the Ugly

Various SF theme tune combination albums...

God, I'm beginning to bore myself. :freakout: There are just too damned many...and I'm surprised my head hasn't exploded considering it's crammed full of all this stuff... ;)

I'll probably still be head-banging when I'm 80. :D
