JediNyt Posted January 14, 2003 Posted January 14, 2003 I dont know who or what will kill him. Sam Jackson said that Mace will go out in a "blaze of glory". Something spectacular. Being shot or sliced is not spectacular. When I think of a blaze of glory it sounds epic and explosive. Perhaps he will ram a starfighter into an Imperial capital ships reactor and take it out. Kind of like that Rebel pilot did to the Executors command deck in Ep6. So I think he'll probably die in a big battle. A space battle would be best I think.

Count Dooku is by far the better swordsman, master of the Force and combatant between him and the puny Windu. If there was a duel in Episode III between them, it would be over within seconds, due to Dooku's amazing skill, power and mastery. Windu would be dead before he could even ignite his absolutely ridiculous purple lightsaber. I mean, come on, purple? How pathetic is that? makes him look like a big nancy-boy... ... oh, wait: he is. By the way, You've made a spelling error, Dragonlancer. You spell it "Darth Tyranus", not "Darth Tyrranus".

Swoosh Posted January 14, 2003 Posted January 14, 2003 Dooku is a better swordsman? I don't believe that is true. If anything, they are similarly skilled. Windu is at the head of the Jedi Council, you don't get there without having great skills with the force and lightsaber. If Dooku stayed true to the Jedi Order, then he certainly could have been a Jedi Master and on a similar level as Windu. I think our best indicator of Dooku's skill is how he had to run from Yoda when he could have wiped him out if he was confident he would win...but he wasn't, so he was forced to run. I think it's a safe assumption that a Windu/Yoda battle would be a fairly equal one assuming their similar ranks. Finally, why would Sidious want Anakin to kill him in EP3 if this Dooku guy is so great...to me, Sidious figured Dooku was a temporary fix after the death of the pure Sith Darth Maul...this would also indicate he isn't as great as you think. Count Dooku 2 Posted January 19, 2003 Posted January 19, 2003 No, I don't think Anakin will be able to kill Mace Windu. Anakin will only duel Obi-Wan Kenobi in Episode III, I believe, and his state afterwards will mean he is disabled until he becomes Darth Vader in the last five minutes of the film. My money is still on Count Dooku.

Mace will be sitting there meditating in the Jedi council and Babba will walk in with a thermal detonator in his hand and toss it towards Mace, then Babba will turn and run. The thermal detonator will roll up to Mace. Mace will open his eyes and look down at it, and BOOM! The whole jedi council building will be blown up.
