Got this from my last college.

 

"Below is a press release that you may want to send to your local newspaper for publication. If the paper does run the story, we would appreciate your sending a copy for our files. We are certain you must be proud of this accomplishment.

Subject: Dean's List

 

Pensacola, Florida -- Jared **** ****, Son of Rev. and Mrs. **** **** of Mesquite, Texas, was named to the Dean's List by Dr. Matthew A. Beemer, Vice President for Academic Affairs, At PCC, for academic achievment during the 2002 fall semester. This was a result of earning a B average or higher."

Easy to figure out my last though.

 

btw, it's Jared **** **** meaning first name / middle name / last name so you'll never get my middle name. :D

Wow...this topic went AWOL fast...lol!

 

Dean's list...it's a list of students who did excellent during a semester in grades. (Had all As or Bs at college)

 

If you make it, you are added to the "Dean's List" sorta like a non-visible trophy.

Must be nice to have people proud of you.

 

I got 4 A's and 2 B's last semester in college and my family told me that my B's might as well have been F's. Their mindset is that if it's not an A, it's as good as an F. How's that for pressure, eh?

 

Ah well... i'm happy with my grades, and that's all that really matters.

My family would sometimes whip you several times and ground you for 2 and a half months if you failed 2 tests....so I HAD to do good in high school. Well, I'm in college now, studying 9 hours a day because of that habit.
